Always a positive angle lfc
You are an inspiration. |
By:
Thank you zen for those kind words, it is nice, for a change.

How are we more creative when we import more from the EU than we export £290bn v £220bn. That surely says they create more than us.
By:
: )
By:
The point is it doesn't matter. Businesses will want their slice of the £350M and this govt will give them it.
Do you have any evidence for these assertions Pineapple or are you simply throwing darts in the dark? |
By:
Pineapple, do not underestimate the creative and industrial genius of this great country.
By:
Most welcome lfc
By:
Typical brexiters response of burying their heads in the sand and waiting for triple confirmed evidence rather than using their noggin. Just open your eyes, look at the number of corporations and banks assessing their position. "We might have to move as it will cost us more to operate here. How can you help Ms May?"
But no, let's go with the no running commentary line and hope for the best. |
By:
That's all well and good lfc but the facts and figures simply don't back up your romantic notion.
By:
So you admit all you have is conspiracy theories Pineapple?
By:
Banks do not create wealth, they are there to make money off the creative and scientific and technical ability of a nation, that's were England is unsurpassed, except perhaps by America.
By:
Not conspiracy theories at all zen. Jesus, that the best you can do?
By:
Credit where it is due to America, I love and honour facts.
By:
Not conspiracy theories at all zen. Jesus, that the best you can do?
Ok, you admit that you can not elaborate? |
By:
Quick catch up for lfc:
Mini - German car manufactured in Cowley. Designed by a Europhile yank and his team in Germany Honda - Japanese manufacturer, Civic and Jazz manufactured in Swindon. Designed in Japan. Toyota - Japanese manufacturer, Auris and Avensis built in Derbyshire. Designed in Japan. Not sure what Britain is bringing to the table here apart from assembly to be honest. I suppose we still have Jaguar Land Rover (a subsidiary of the Indian firm Tata) and Vauxhall (part of the American GM) but beyond that you're going pretty niche. |
By:
jesus, why does someone always have to admit something? You sound like my 4-year old.
By:
I sense you getting a tad stroppy Pineapple, is it that time of the month?
By:
the creative and scientific and technical ability of a nation, that's were England is unsurpassed
what century is this nostalgic man living in? |
By:
ozy, I'm still trying to figure him out. Sometimes I see him as the major from Fawlty Towers, others I think he's some inspired Chris Morris creation having a bit of fun.

keep stamping those feet remoaners
By:
Did that guy ever respond if libtard meant liberal retard?
By:
Libtard - a very accurate term.
I like it. I like it a lot. |
By:
A libtard wants to live in a fantasy world (in which life is the way that they WISH IT WAS) as opposed to dealing with life the way it actually is.
By:
I think that perfectly describes purple & breeding imho
By:
It is extremely accurate
Retard delay or hold back in terms of progress or development. "the worst thing that liberals can do is to retard the will of the people" libtard. |
By:
It's Brexiters who are moving the country backwards they have a rose coloured spectacles view of Britain thinking they can go it alone
in the world as inward looking isolationists. If Federations are that bad how come the U.S is the strongest nation in the world? |
By:
USA are one of the most fooked up countries in the world, their only power is with the bomb, oh and maybe cheap labour which the rich companies adore.
By:
Democracy.
Majority voted out. Job done. Next question. (Remainers just don't get it. What's so hard to understand? ... Again ... Democracy. Majority voted out. HTH |
By:
Breeding mad obviously believes the UK should be a member of the eurozone and ruled by an EU high emperor.
He calls that progress. |
By:
A President voted in by member states it's called Democracy.
By:
But we voted OUT of any federalised plans Breedingmad.
We did the democratic thingy. |
By:
We are in unchartered territory, so nobody knows how this is going to pan out especially as nobody knows what Brexit will look like, I'm sure crags will bump all of these threads in 5 years time at 3.47 in the morning to lets us know which of us were the smart arses and which were the laughing stocks

By:
But the left are claiming they do know, even if most of their early predictions are yet to materialise.
By:
you are quite correct s_h, it's early days and the bloc may have imploded on it's own by then.

The Plot thickens...

By:
And from 2012...
http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-2230999/Nissan-sells-UK-cars-Switzerland-tax-ruse.html |
By:
Good to read nissan paid £22m in tax in 2015, more than goggle and apple.
![]() |
By:
so nissan sunderland only sell here or switzerland.
thats not an issue as even if nissan switzerland do sell to the eu its not illegal. bt once out of the eu those cars get classed as third party...so if the swiss do decide to sell some into the eu a tarrif is imposed...based on the third country countries agreement. if its a tax dodge then it needs to be looked at now |
By:
What have BT got to do with all of this ?
plus im surprised you have not mentioned subprime in your post. |

For the next vote I propose that we should act by this range of results.
Remain vote.......Leave vote Greater than 55% - Less than 45% then we should go for a "Hard" Remain 54-51% 46-49% a "Soft" Remain 46-49% 54-51% a "Soft" Brexit Less than 45% Greater than 55% then a "Hard" Brexit 50-50% a coin toss |
