Biffa truck driver named and photo'd by The Sun

Interesting piece here (link posted on reddit) from someone who went to the area, did some timings and checked out the cctv's.
And asks what was Corrie doing in the 15 minutes from sending the 'final' text to arriving at the horseshoe, as it only takes ? 50 secs to get there from Hughes Store. https://mikeywomble.wordpress.com/ |
|
By:
Reading through, and it might have happened since this was written, but there are a number of inaccuries.
The people he met in the takeaway have been interviewed. Saying there is a 15 minute time gap that needs to be explained is not necessarily correct. I believe he sent a photo from a previous night out to his GF April who was in the States at the time, and I think it was sent via WhatsApp. She received it at 03.08 our time but due to connectivity issues it could have been sent earlier so Corrie could still have been snoozing in the shop doorway at the time she received it. |
|
By:
Regards the CCTV cameras, he could have made it out of the Horseshoe area without being seen by a camera (as the main camera is a rotating one and I believe three of the other cameras were not working). However, once out of that area he would have been picked up by cameras on the main streets of BSE.

The family is giving out a lot of facts and information which is good, especially when a lot of amateur detectives and press come out with a lot of inaccuracies.
There has been talk of four vehicles in the area (other than the Biffa lorry) one of whom apparently had "no good reason" to be there. They are all known to police and have been interviewed, etc., but I believe they are all still part of the investigation so not necessarily "cleared". However, it's hard to work out the timing and location of these vehicles as I don't think this is being reported on as they are still part of the investigation. Corrie went into the area at 3.25 am. The Biffa lorry almost an hour later. Corrie's Mother is saying that the Biffa lorry was the first vehicle to enter and leave the Horseshoe after Corrie went in there and that there were no other vehicles in there. |
|
By:
I'm guessing the article must have been written some time ago - as of about two weeks ago there were only 5 people who had been in the area (and caught on CCTV) left to identify and I believe they have been following the release of clearer images.

There has also been a Q&A session with the Suffolk Police which has been in the East Anglian Daily Times yesterday and today.
Apparently, they believe they have enough information from his phone records to say that they don't think he had arranged to meet anyone that night (via phone I assume). |

Ultimately the final theories "Michael" comes up with are most likely.

There could be an apology in The Sun tomorrow, looks like they've named the wrong man and it would appear that fella wasn't even on duty that day - not surprisingly the story has been removed from their website.
'A Suffolk Police spokesman said: 'The man named as being the bin lorry driver was not the bin lorry driver on that morning, and is not connected to the Corrie McKeague enquiry' |

this is one of the missing person cases that the media an public have latched onto. i reckon he went down there at that time to meet someone as arranged and was obviously killed.

It's not the perfect preparation for a seedy meeting is it>
Falling asleep in a doorway for two hours, and then waking up with kebab breath, cold and miserable just in time for the meeting? |

Yep. And why are they now delaying it until the 22nd Feb. ?
And presumably they're stopping any fresh garbage being dumped there, before that date. |

What type of waste did the biffa truck collect?
Recycling waste going to landfill? Any clarity on this matter? |
|
By:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-4212230/Corrie-McKeague-
search-efforts-focused-landfill-site.html According to this report, preparatory work is already under way. Police said they alerted the site early in the investigation of the possible need to search it, and that no further waste had been deposited in the area of the site where the Bury St Edmunds waste was deposited. |
|
By:
Biffa lorry reportedly collected paper/cardboard waste from Greggs with weight of only around 11kg.
Lorry had also been forensically checked with no trace of Corrie found. Lorry reported to have gone to Barton Mills recycling centre, so strange they are searching Milton Landfill over 20 miles away. |
|
By:
over 20 miles from Barton Mills that is.
It's closer to 30 miles from BSE to Milton. |

By:
Seems plausible squares. His body was hidden in the black sack biffa bin and taken away a day or two later to the landfill site.
However, the phone seems to have gone with the first biffa driver, so did he find the phone and has decided to not admit it. |
|
By:
Biffa bins are big red bins.
The phone pinged the mast in the same area as the route taken by the Biffa lorry at Barton Mills. However, the phone was not necessarily in the Biffa lorry. It could have been in any other vehicle travelling a similar route (and there would have been many - Fiveways Roundabout, A11, etc., = a busy route) and the mast could have been pinged from anywhere within around a 5km radius. |
