Sorry for your loss Aspro.
NHS were brilliant for both my Mum and Dad. We are so lucky to have this service available at no cost at point of receipt. And we should fight like hell to support it, and reject any steps to insidiously replace it with private health care. |

My Dad's gone 18 years and I miss him every day but time is a great healer.
Your toughest time is today and the coming weeks but you will remember him in future with fondness. So sorry for your loss. |

Rest in Peace. Sorry to hear it. Even people offering condolences can upset you.
I called to my Da's grave on the 24th. It was ten years since he died. When he is alive there can be disagreements, but when he dies you know how you feel. |

Sorry to hear your sad news, you don't realize how hard it hits you losing your Mum or Dad. My Dad died 16 years ago and there has never been a single day I don't think about him. They say time is a great healer, but not really, time just numbs the pain.

My condolences Aspro. May your dad rest in peace.
My Dad is currently in hospital, and won't be getting out. Have to say the nurses and staff really are a credit to their profession. |

Correct. Life goes on when you've lost both parents. But it's never the same. |

So true HD2 - I lost Mum 30 years ago this very month and she is in at least one dream a week and usually more. Can't recall ever dreaming about Dad but I'm sure I will now.
Sorry to hear about your Dad Platini; I know what you're going through but as you say, the staff are brilliant and will give him the very best all day, every day. Stay strong. |

The type of post I've read on this thread is what makes Chit Chat really good - such a sense of community!
Very apt and poignant YT video posted by Dan. Regards to Aspro. |

My Dad died in Ipswich Hospital last year.My family thought the care and attention given to Dad in the final 3 months was excellent, too, especially in the stroke wards. |
