You may disagree regarding what the law should be lfc. Every man seeks to make his own future reality. I can but tell you of the present reality.

Nay, nay and thrice nay alun. Paddle carries with him the hugest balls of righteous fury and until he drops them on me cracking my skull I will continue to have faith that he will emerge carrying the golden jock strap of justice in his hands.

Ah well, you could be right EO my friend. My judgement has been a bit skewed this weekend, because Rocco's Niece sent me a special Valentine's Day package containing a card full of filthily-expressed desires, a multipack of those Cadbury's Caramel and a pair of her most fragrant undergarments.

I can only assume she has the addresses mixed up dear sir. She did promise me that they would be well worn. In fact turned inside out were her exact words. Hard to think that such a woman of breeding would be reduced to such a thing but then if you stick a fox in the hen house the feathers will fly.

Ah well, rotten luck and all that.
![]() I must say I cut quite a dash walking into the Co-Op with them adorning my face this afternoon. Anyway as midnight is about to strike I'm sure Paddletoe will deliver his report bang on time. |

No problemo alun. I've clarified and apparently she has sent me the genuine article. Yours came from a crack addict with fanny warts who only washes on special occasions. It hasn't been a special occasion for a few weeks so I'm guessing you got the full aroma. On your face you say? Hopefully penicillin still works.

By:
I'm guessing that by tomorrow your face will look like a sliced Chorizo pizza.

By:
ha ha ha, you and alun are almost as good as Minnow and Bacanaal, 2 very early chit chatters, if anyone remembers them.
|

By:
Thanks for clearing that up EO. I just hope the penicillin does so equally well.

This thread screamed fraud from the start.
I don't believe there was a trench dug across the road,I don't believe Paddletoe was in any way injured. More than likely there was a trench at the side of the road,Paddletoe wasn't paying attention and drove into it. He then met with gents like Kenny Man who told him he had a claim. Some days have passed so he trundles down to his doctor ( despite his youth he is a regular there ) but in a bit of bad luck he is seen by a principled doctor who saw right through him. This makes Paddletoe first angry and then vindictive. He relates his story on here,he gets some unexpected opposition so after a few days tells an outrageous lie,a new claim that the doctor said something terrible about his three year old child. This lie is so obvious that many previously sympathetic to Paddletoe change. He has now gone to ground despite promises of telling us what the doctor said. He thought he could come up with some story but his imagination failed him. |
|
By:
Hasn't been seen since the earliest hour of Saturday morning. What on earth could have gone wrong?
Surely there isn't a huge trench in a road, miles from anywhere, into which a car has plummeted and no-one is coming to the rescue? Least of all of course the heartless doctors who are either all out on strike, or roundly abusing imaginary 3 year olds. |

I see there have been over 40 replies since I last posted. Have not read any of them so far. I had other more important things over the weekend. I was not in "hiding".
I will however, honour my words and give EO replies to two points. Not because I need validation. He is one person I am always happy to accept criticism from. First, my reaction to my morality over how in "some" circumstances have different set of morals on how I deal with big business especially ones in have little respect for and the normal person on the street. I will mention one such big business - the main bookmakers. I spend a lot of time time online betting and by nature of that fact I have over time run into quite a few betting opportunities which lets say the result was already known. I have placed many bets in that knowledge and been paid on more than them than you would thin. Is that stealing? That's up for others to decide. I was a little upset when I had a big bet recently on an individual tennis game within the match which I knew was already over. Got paid but several hours later it was voided. No big deal. But I would not have been handing the money back if it had not been voided. I can give a few examples of these same bookmakers tried to move oncourse sp odds in their favour in a completely amoral way but for a more specific example one major bookmaker took took hundreds of thousands of euros off an irish punter who they knew had not the means to lawfully have such an amount of money. He was a post office manager and had stolen the money and it suited them not to ask where the money came from. You cant even lodge £5000 in cash in a bank without having to account for that money. So was that stealing which I have admitted doing many times in the line of betting. I refer to specific bets where the result was known and I had nothing to lose and if I did not get paid and I got paid in many cases with such bets and the overall figure would be in 5 figures. My views on banks and the people who are the real bank robbbers are also well known. I will answer the second question EO asked but only in private and maybe I over reacted to what was sais by the doctor. As for my sore back people can make up their own mind about that. |

On the opposite side of the coin this is how I deal with normal people. I found a handbag on a train platform after I just missed the last train and obviously some lady had been rushing to get on the train and left in on the seat. There was several hundred pound in it as well as other personal items probably. The young lady actually worked with Stanley and had come from Liverpool to London for what I assume was a weekend break. It was at Luton Parkway. I looked for a way to contact her but to no avail otherwise I would have travelled all across London to get it back to her. In the end I had to give it to the nearest police station. I got a very kind letter of thanks in reply.
So I make no apology for treating people and businesses differently but I said in some circumstances so that does not mean I treat all all business 's the same way and with the level of what I think is moral. |

You a slow counter paddle ?

I think they got wise to that 20 years ago Capt.

Hardly ever if any football matches Kenny. Mostly submarkets where the bets are settled quickly and I place so many bets for relatively large sums the don't stand out. Got a bit greedy on the last tennis game I mentioned. A typical one would be an over bet in cricket and the sub markets around it when just one ball needs to be bowled and the bookmaker a bit behind to bets over runs or a boundary. Snooker matches too where the final ball has been potted.

dubious translation issues Kenny
it the vogue maintenant |

So what I am saying there is no matter of opinion in those examples. Its stealing. But it depends who you are stealing from. My sore back or lack or it is more a matter of opinion but I think I will leave that to others to decide if and when it does become a more serious issue.

As I said have not read any replies since I last posted on this thread but I would have a few quid at evens (lot less than evens) that Wildman was in his element as his opinion on me is not very high.

sorry Dr Wildman

I would like to tahnk lfc though for his advice. I take nothing nothing back about that doctor but if she did something to herself because of what I was going to say other people would be hurt and that would not be good or right. Same girl has probably thick sin but you never know.

Just read your reply Alun. I have not been online for 3 days over the weekend when I had other more important things to do and you make such a conclusion?
|
|
By:
I see paddltoe, the reason I asked is that a well spoken guy phoned the other day wanting to have access to a betting account to do the same. Split winnings 50/50. I have refused thinking it was unlikely he could exploit markets, and he said he specialised in footy.

did he have an Oirish dialect ?

No, he had no discernible accent, but said he was based in Chichester.

Anyway Wildman, what do you think about this story about Pope John Paul. Do you think he had carnal thoughts about the lady in question?

Its not deflection tactics. Just interested in your views.
