Galloway agreeing with Nigel gets me worried, hope he doesn't bring him along to any Leave.EU/GO events.

West Midlands UKIP MEP Bill Etheridge launched another broadside at the EU following the release of figures from the Regional Development Committee on which he sits.

The accounts show that between 2008 and 2015, the UK was awarded interim payments of just €4.3bn, in comparison to Poland who received a whopping €48bn. Estonia, a country of little more than 1.3 million people, saw investments in excess of €21bn

A French senator has urged Europe not to give into British “blackmail”. Claude Kern, a member of the centre right Union of Democrats and Independents, warned that the European Council was once again being sucked into Brexit.

He said the UK’s “Brexit blackmail” is “unacceptable and reveals the ingratitude of the British.”

In a Facebook posting he asked: “What right does the UK have to tell Europe to give up on our European project?”

Kern said that giving into Britain’s demands would result in the dislocation of the EU.

there was a good article in the telegraph about how shallow the debate is and the lack of robust independent research into the cost of the leaving.

I'm yet to find the really convincing arguments about the hardships switzerland, iceland, and norway are currently facing.

I'm out, largely because sovereignty is worth more than short-time economic hardship, and as for the risible arguments about influence, the present negotiations are making the extent of our influence abundantly clear. And that's before we embarrass ourselves further by weighting our influence against our contributions to the EU.

This negotiation reminds me of the infinitely more admirable Jeffrey Bernard's maxim.

Eurocrats obviously thought a small, fairly meaningless, concession was better than losing Britains money.

Even more reason to leave.

F**k Brussels and f**k Cameron too.
