![]() clouseau, how do you derive castelvecchio from that of D? what was the code to do it? I only need F now |
By:
lol leopard.
I was uploading the pic last night and it was taking ages to be accepted, so I went to bed. straight to work this morning so didn't get a chance to upload it. Thank you to scandanavian for doing it for me... that is indeed the puzzle.... so all I require now is he code and answer to F |
By:
it's a simple 3 letter shift back in the alphabet.
By:
Brilliant. So simple yet I was nowhere near that. great work sir..
any chance of F? ![]() |

By:
scandanavaian yes that's the photo... how did you know that was it Grin
I took it from your photo section on your profile by right clicking on the image and selecting 'copy image link' then posting the link of here and just put in the image links,[*img] and [*/img] ) either side of the link, (leaving out the asteriks, only put them in there so it would post here without disappearing) You can do the same without waiting for the mods but taking out where it says 'thumb' and one of the '/' signs next to it and putting in the [*img] [*/img] codes either side again. |

By:
that should read... does anyone know what or where they are?
By:
B: Sheppey Crossing, Isle of Sheppey
By:
A. Ely Cathedral
By:
C: Mull of Galloway, Dumfries & Galloway
By:
D: London water tower Shooters Hill
By:
I had Sheppey crossing but didn't know the other 3... cheers guys. I knew betfair forumites were the fountain of all knowledge.
oh yes, what do you think the connection is? |
By:
apparently the connection is a 3 word common "out of this world" term
By:
The link might be about shipping.
A. known locally as "the ship of the Fens" B. replaces the Kingsferry Bridge, which previously carried the A249, suffers from two major drawbacks: It has only one lane in each direction and as traffic to and from the island increased over time it became a bottleneck. Secondly, it is a vertical-lift bridge. It needs to be raised regularly to allow marine traffic to pass under it, leading to lengthy traffic delays. C. is a lighthouse D. it is one of the highest points in London. The name is also linked to the Second World War, where it was the site of an array of anti-aircraft guns which protected London. |
By:
maybe Kincsem, don't think I could find a 3 word "out of this world" term for it though. D is a bit hazy to do with shipping... I confess I don't have a Scooby! I guess when we have the right connection and answer we will know.
I think its more the places rather than the landmarks for the connection. I think the landmarks are just so the area is identifyable |

any fresh ideas?
