Heath's private secretary has come out of the woodwork on BBC saying Heath was with people all of the time so he couldn't have had a chance to rape any children......he was alone on his yatch with boys from Haute de L'Garenne  though.

He was alone when he picked up that 12 year old at the side of the road....BBC spinning?

The BBC showing commendable caution imo. I don't know whether the allegations against Heath are true and neither do those people who seem to be treating them as fact beyond doubt.

Former UK prime minister
One of those who stood most to lose was Sir Edward Heath, the former prime minister from 1970-74, who was known to visit the Jersey care home the Haute Garrene among others to take young boys on boating weekends on his yacht called  ‘Morning Cloud’, or as his bodyguards referred to it, ‘Morning Sickness’.

Heath on the morning cloud
A source spoke to one of his victims and he said about others who were present, and more important, who was supplying the children to him. The person bringing children for him to abuse is Sir Jimmy Saville. He was seen by the witness, victim, taking young boys onboard Heaths yacht the morning cloud when they were at party conference. Allegedly Saville is known for supplying a number of high profile MP’s with children for them to sexually abuse.

Savile had initially denied ever visiting the home, despite this photo clearly showing him there.
Heath was warned on 4 occasions by the head of the Metropolitan police not to loiter in London’s lavatories and not to try to pick up young boys. Nonetheless, he quickly fell prone blackmailers who insisted he dress up in a ridiculous Gestapo uniform in which he was photographed.

Jersey Police had also investigated accusations made against Jimmy Savile about alleged abuse in a children’s home, but decided there was not enough evidence to proceed.
A spokeswoman for Jersey Police said: “During the course of the States of Jersey Police’s historic abuse investigation, a verbal allegation of indecent assault said to have occurred during the 1970s at the former children’s home Haut de la Garenne was received.

“The allegation was investigated but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.”
Another famous person linked with Jersey and Savile was Wilfred Bramble (pic below) best known for his role in the British television series Steptoe and Son. One of two boys whom he abused in a back room at the Jersey Opera House in the Seventies was from Haut de la Garenne. Brambell was homosexual at a time when it was almost impossible for public figures to be openly gay, not least because male homosexual acts were illegal in the UK until 1967. In 1962 he was arrested in a toilet in Shepherd’s Bush for persistently importuning and given a conditional discharge.

Didn't Heath's bodyguards go on the boat as well? Saville as procurer-in-chief?

This stuff has been all over the net for years. I accept it could be true but it's hardly backed up with very firm evidence is it ?
The two allegation against Heath which have started this off in the mainstream have been made by a brothel-keeper who seems to have specialised in young girls not boys and who has been convicted twice and by a bloke who reckons he was abused by Heath in 1961 and has himself been convicted of child abuse. I'm not convinced they are totally reliable witnesses.

http://theukdatabase.com/uk-child-abusers-named-and-shamed/childhood-abuses/uk-childrens-homes-crisis/kincora-boys-home/

During this time, it is alleged by satirical magazine Private Eye, high ranking members of the Whitehall Civil Service and senior officers of the UK military were involved in the sexual abuse of boys in Kincora

People in authority knew what was going on because military intelligence officer Colin Wallace blew the whistle.

Wallace told his superiors what was happening and even put out a press release in early 1973. It stated that William McGrath was using “a non-existent evangelical mission as a front” for paedophilia. He supplied the address and phone number.

No newspaper followed this obvious lead, despite the press usually running Wallace’s propaganda briefings unedited.
The authorities did nothing about it. And sometimes they were the abusers. One was the late John Young, town solicitor at Belfast, to whom the boys’ complaints were passed. Others were councillors. Yet others were higher up politicians.

Colin Wallace exposed British Army ‘dirty tricks’ in Northern Ireland. Wallace from Co. Antrim joined the British Army in Lisburn as a public relations officer.  He quickly impressed and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel by the age of 31.

He co-operated with shadowy campaigns run by the intelligence services, but drew, albeit without personal or professional regret, the line at a campaign to undermine and discredit the new Labour Government in Downing Street; and at efforts to cover up child sex abuse at a boys’ home run by a valued informer.

Former Army Press officer Colin Wallace, who was based in Belfast, has long insisted that the authorities knew boys were being systematically sodomised at the home six years before they decided to act.

Above: Colin Wallace (second from right) in the company of PM Ted Heath and high ranking military personel
When he refused to continue with these activities, he was fired from his job, and found himself blacklisted.

He resettled in England but, when a friend there died in suspicious circumstances; he was convicted of manslaughter and spent six years in prison.

He claims that he was framed for the murder in order to silence him.

The names McGrath , Semple and Mains are widely known but it has become obvious that there are other names of powerful and well-known people who have connections with the Kincora saga and whose identities the so-called authorities have tried to keep secret since the scandal broke .

One such person who has been reported to have visited Kincora is Ted Heath , the former Conservative MP and British PM.

I haven't much doubt that Kincora was the scene of some shady goings-on and yes Heath MAY have been involved. But the article says he was reported to have visited Kincora. Reported by who ?
If you were an undergraduate and turned in unverified stuff like that you would be unlikely to get a degree.

Looks for all intents and purposes as a regular trial by the public on tickle tackle and heresay. Many seem to have made up their minds without an opportunity to test the evidence in court.
Due process should be carried out. If five police forces are now investigating then you'd think there likely to be a substantial combing of details. Let them get on with it without prefixing an outcome.
Many of the people who 'helpfully' make light of relevations do so without substantiating the evidence. I suspect a diet of box set dramas and twisted plot feature films about glitterati fuel this fire.
I'm glad salmon is keeping things in perspective.
We have already had saville hung drawn and quartered within a year of his death, probably 60 years and supposedly 500 abuses wernt enough to bring one trial so they did it after death.
That for me is almost like a conspiracy.

what I personally don't understand is how and when did this new entity enter the lexicon of definitive evidence without trial?
Seems a rather strange president to me. How did a testimony become worth more when it can no longer be challenged?

Churchill is a war criminal for using chemical weapons in WWI
.
http://www.theguardian.com/world/shortcuts/2013/sep/01/winston-churchill-shocking-use-chemical-weapons

Secrecy was paramount. Britain's imperial general staff knew there would be outrage if it became known that the government was intending to use its secret stockpile of chemical weapons. But Winston Churchill, then secretary of state for war, brushed aside their concerns. As a long-term advocate of chemical warfare, he was determined to use them against the Russian Bolsheviks. In the summer of 1919, 94 years before the devastating strike in Syria, Churchill planned and executed a sustained chemical attack on northern Russia.

The British were no strangers to the use of chemical weapons. During the third battle of Gaza in 1917, General Edmund Allenby had fired 10,000 cans of asphyxiating gas at enemy positions, to limited effect. But in the final months of the first world war, scientists at the governmental laboratories at Porton in Wiltshire developed a far more devastating weapon: the top secret "M Device", an exploding shell containing a highly toxic gas called diphenylaminechloroarsine. The man in charge of developing it, Major General Charles Foulkes, called it "the most effective chemical weapon ever devised".

Trials at Porton suggested that it was indeed a terrible new weapon. Uncontrollable vomiting, coughing up blood and instant, crippling fatigue were the most common reactions. The overall head of chemical warfare production, Sir Keith Price, was convinced its use would lead to the rapid collapse of the Bolshevik regime. "If you got home only once with the gas you would find no more Bolshies this side of Vologda."The cabinet was hostile to the use of such weapons, much to Churchill's irritation. He also wanted to use M Devices against the rebellious tribes of northern India. "I am strongly in favour of using poisoned gas against uncivilised tribes," he declared in one secret memorandum. He criticised his colleagues for their "squeamishness", declaring that "the objections of the India Office to the use of gas against natives are unreasonable. Gas is a more merciful weapon than [the] high explosive shell, and compels an enemy to accept a decision with less loss of life than any other agency of war."

He ended his memo on a note of ill-placed black humour: "Why is it not fair for a British artilleryman to fire a shell which makes the said native sneeze?" he asked. "It is really too silly."

A staggering 50,000 M Devices were shipped to Russia: British aerial attacks using them began on 27 August 1919, targeting the village of Emtsa, 120 miles south of Archangel. Bolshevik soldiers were seen fleeing in panic as the green chemical gas drifted towards them. Those caught in the cloud vomited blood, then collapsed unconscious.

The attacks continued throughout September on many Bolshevik-held villages: Chunova, Vikhtova, Pocha, Chorga, Tavoigor and Zapolki. But the weapons proved less effective than Churchill had hoped, partly because of the damp autumn weather. By September, the attacks were halted then stopped. Two weeks later the remaining weapons were dumped in the White Sea. They remain on the seabed to this day in 40 fathoms of water.

Will the bones of King Richard 3rd, recently exhumed from a car park, then reinterred in Leicester Cathedral, now have to be re-exhumed as part of a NEW Operation (possibly called Operation F***ing Pointless) to see if there is any DNA from the Little Princes he supposedly murdered in the Tower of London in 1483?

I reckon Dr Nikki Alexander from 'Silent Witness' could well crack the case given her past discoveries (with or without her ridiculous headscarf), and these days she can also get expert help from lab assistant Davros.

Plenty of allegations against Savile when he was Alive nothing was done about them ,Quite handy having the PM as one of your best mates not to mention the Head of child line .The man was a sick and warped individual who for all we know probably got away with murder ...

As for Teddy we shall see ,but if Savile got away with it for years ,I certainly wouldn't be taking short odds  Heath not being bang at it ...

Operation Midland: The BBC understands Sir Edward is being looked at as part of the operation examining claims that boys were abused by a group of powerful men at locations across southern England and in London in the 1970s and 1980s. It has focused on the Dolphin Square estate in Pimlico, south-west London.
Operation Whistle: The States of Jersey Police has confirmed Sir Edward forms part of its investigation into historical allegations of abuse. It says some of the allegations relate to abuse "within institutions or by people of public prominence".
Operation Hydrant: A nationally co-ordinated exercise to collate all allegations of historical abuse involving high profile-figures. The operation has been notified of Sir Edward being named in connection with an allegation of sexual assault in the 1960s.
