re: egner
...as the great late George Carlin said....... "its a big club...and you aint in it!!!!" Did you see Sky's Press Preview last night egner? Andrew Pierce and Kevin McGuire (both tabloid editors) were on that and they had the gall to sit there and say that they had never heard *anything* about Heath, even though they had heard gossip about others, but Heath, oh no, never a sniff of a rumour. You only had to read up on McAlpine (ie the Scallywag article) and there was plenty of stuff about how children from childrens' homes who were taken sailing by the great and good had a most curious habit of "running away" never to be seen again. Well done that senior officer for finally speaking out... easy to stand in judgment, but I think he's to be admired for knowing exactly who he will be taking on, and what's happened to others involved with them, and still speaking out. |

All these allegations and insinuations seem to involve everyone who's ever been in the public eye ffs, I just can't believe hardly any of it personally. Why hasn't the likes of Rolf sang like a canary once given jail? He's an old man, what's he got to be scared of? Don't tell me, the SAS and the secret service right? Pmsl |

My problem is with the ppl who fan the flames like they know for certain stuff is true. Like its some tv series they've been watching with a twisted Dan brown plot.
These kind of accusations are about as bad as they come, so people should be sure about em before they start the witch hunt. |

How do you know they are true leopard?
The ones who believe before any case is brought are the ones who simply want it to be true, like the hoardes that used to congregate at public executions, they have no interest in making society better they are just morbidly fascinated and the papers sell off the back of it. Just a nation of rubber necked types instigating the lynch mobs on here say. |

The Heath allegations have come into the open because a retired senior Police Officer has surfaced.
Police are being investigated over sensational claims they covered up child sex allegations against former prime minister Edward Heath. The probe was launched after a retired ‘very senior’ officer raised concerns that a criminal trial was derailed in the 1990s to protect the former Tory leader. As a result, it is alleged, he was never interviewed by police – let alone arrested – and his home was not searched. Last night, in a bizarre televised scene, a senior Wiltshire Police officer stood outside Sir Edward’s former home and urged victims not ‘to suffer in silence’ and to contact them if they had been abused by the politician. One alleged victim claims he was sexually assaulted aged 12 by Sir Edward in a Mayfair flat in 1961, after the MP spotted him walking the streets alone. The 65-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, claimed he was unaware of Sir Edward's identity until four years later when he saw a picture of the then Tory MP alongside future Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. According to the Daily Mirror, the alleged victim burst into tears and told his mother: 'The man in this picture raped me, mum.' He claimed he had reported the alleged attack two months after it is said to have happened but was dismissed as a 'fantasist' and a liar. Scotland Yard has been informed of the allegations and detectives reportedly plan to interview the man. Meanwhile, sources described the police whistleblower, who reached chief officer rank, as a man of high integrity whose testimony is being treated ‘very seriously’. Last night, a retired senior Wiltshire Police officer said he was sure the allegations made by his former colleague were true. The officer, who was at the heart of some of the force’s most sensitive inquiries in the 1990s, told the Daily Mail: ‘I have no doubt that the allegation that a prosecution was stopped in suspicious circumstances, because of a potential link to Sir Edward, is true.’ The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) investigation centres on whether charges against a woman, accused of running a brothel, were not pursued when she threatened to expose Sir Edward – the highest-profile figure to be embroiled in historical child sex abuse allegations. The IPCC is also examining whether Wiltshire Police ever subsequently took steps to probe the allegations against the man who was premier for four years from 1970. The moves, ten years after his death aged 89, prompted renewed claims of an Establishment cover-up to protect VIP paedophiles. Labour MP Tom Watson revealed he handed information about Sir Edward to police three years ago. ‘I received information in 2012 concerning allegations of child abuse carried out by Edward Heath and a separate claim concerning Heath was made to me subsequently,’ he said. ‘I passed them both to the police, who have confirmed to me that at least one of those allegations is being investigated and taken seriously.’ It is understood the cover-up claims stem from a case involving a woman accused of running a brothel. Sources close to the independent inquiry suggested the woman was charged in the 1990s but the case never reached trial. |

Wouldn't they be better off working systematically through this supposed nest of vipers?
If 500 people are alleging saville did stuff to them (or is the number even higher now?) and that the public jury has tried the man as an absolute certainty then isn't that a better starting point to undercover alleged cover ups? Much more to go on that just a few allegations surely? Where are we in getting to the truth of that one? |

Heath case is very important as it has been alleged that his boy victims were murdered....how much did he know....how were the security forces involved.....why didn't they stop it.

They are questions that I assume some want answers to.
Non of that makes it fact though, that's what will be determined by hearing the evidence. How do you know for example that's not a copper covering his own back on the back of the tide of public opinion? Or that the allegations wernt actually made, investigated and ruled out as bollox at the time? It's always assumed by those wanting to believe that the nasty establishment is the evil party and the poor individual been silenced. It may or may not have happened. |

just saw an interview on sky with Binley former tory mp
astonishing that he was practically dismissing this allegation of a 60 year old man coming forward to say he was raped by Heath as an 12 year old, he said it was the silly season and a story blown up by journalists with nothing better to write and he couldn't possibly believe he could do such a thing! LOL and ffs. |
|
By:
I think the 1961 story is dodgy tbh. The guy concerned was pimped out by his father from the age of 7 according to his own story, but Heath picked him up by accident on a motorway. He has himself been found guilty of child abuse later in life. I don't think he would make a very reliable witness somehow. There might well be more substance in the 1990s case in Wiltshire and that certainly looks worth investigating. My own feeling is that Heath was probably homosexual by instinct but suppressed it more or less successfully because he was ambitious and homosexuality itself was illegal until he was 50.
If you want to find an old-time Cabinet Minister who was a sexual predator on a near_Savile scale google Lulu Harcourt. |

Binley supported that scumbag Nigel Evans who got off the male rape charge
Brian Binley, Tory MP for Northampton South and a friend of Mr Evans, said: "I was just deeply disturbed and shocked. "I've known him ever since I've been in Parliament and I came in in 2005. I consider him to be a very good friend. "I know him to be caring, compassionate and in no way would he inflict himself violently on any other person." |

ive read some garish content involving those mentioned and others and what amounts to a ridiculously near impossible cover up over countless allegations over numerous ppl for what became decades.
Trips to Jersey and dead kids, with very prominent members being touted as being involved, then systematic cover ups by ppl I assume had no involvement. Not one person made a single allegation stick? We're we living under a dictatorship or perhaps it's just all (or the vast majority) fabrication. |

By:
He says he did come forward 3 years later when he recognised Heath from a photo. By then Heath was much better known than he was in 1961. I am not saying it isn't true but I doubt it would stand up in court.

Not one person made a single allegation stick?
We're we living under a dictatorship or perhaps it's just all (or the vast majority) fabrication. We know for certain there has been a cover up. Police investigations at the time into some of these allegations and alleged perpetrators were shut down by Special Branch and senior officers. |
