Rylance might be the best actor of his generation. |

Hopefully it will pick up.
All shot in the dark and in 3 rooms so far ![]() |

I'm liking it so far!
Hasn't been this much suspense around court since the last time Murray bottled it ![]() . |
|
By:
I don't like Cromwell's father
|
|
By:
I've never liked it in these big old houses and palaces that they join the rooms up like you just saw. They don't have a corridor with doors off to each room, you have to go through each big room past everyone just to get round the house.
Probably a ****er for the heating costs as well! |

What an actor Mark Rylance is..
|
|
By:
I've always liked Damian Lewis. Would he make a good Bond?
|
|
By:
Nowhere near lavish enough
Picked up the longer we went Thomas Cromwell been revisited lately, former baddie who downed Thomas More and destroyed the monasteries But a man of immense ability who rose from low birth to the most powerful in the land, always hated at court for his low birth and one mistake downed him. Henry always regretted losing him. Hope I have not destroyed the plot Henry VIII a king consumed by the passions of the flesh imo. |

Good Christ The Tudors was bunkum. Poor Henry never put an ounce of weight on. I agree guinness, although Jonathon Rhys Meyer was excellent in it, I felt he was far too attractive a man for Henry VIII especially in the later episodes Although the original film version with Charles Laughton, never had him attractive enough I think they should have worked more on Jonathon Rhys Meyer's makeup in later episodes, fatten and uglify him a bit Henry was an attractive man when younger, but after his jousting accident in 1536, he changed, his injury never probably healed properly some say he also had brain damage. He did one thing good in his reign he updated the British Navy which was needed when the French launched an invasion, they were defeated at the Isle Of Wight. |

He was also over 6ft. Built like a flanker, and would have eaten JRM for brekky before his 1st joust.
A true mans man in every sense of the word. Talk about miscasting.. |
