Nothing wring in pointing out the mccanns actions on holiday showed them up as poor parents and also nothing wrong in wondering why they didn't face charges of neglecting their children.
Where this troll and others go wrong is making threats and also making unsubstantiated claims of having been involved in Maddies disappearance. |
By:
I always remember on holidays or at social functions (weddings, parties at hotels), the children got to stay up an extra hour or two,
as a treat, then the parents put them to bed, and they, then, returned to the festivities, once the kids were settled down. I'm sure it still goes on, everywhere. |
By:
Ah sure that's great then, they are then cleared of all fault
By:
No, they've gone through the very worst living hell and deserve much more sympathy
By:
Maybe people would be more sympathetic if they hadn't abandoned their kids every night whilst they went on the lash despite Maddie screaming, if they had answered the questions put to them by the police straight away, if they had joined in the hunt for Maddie, if they weren't playing tennis shortly after, if they hadn't insisted their friends sighting of the suspect 'was defo the one' - we now know it isn't.
All allegedly of course. |
By:
I agree with you charwell
Nobody can be forgiven their sins, until they confess them first not with me Troll away |
By:
Their hell is their own guilt

By:
No, they've gone through the very worst living hell and deserve much more sympathy
Nothing to what horrors this selfish pair have put Madeleine through Poppydog, or does Madeleine not count. NTW any parent that would leave their kids on their own are poor parents. |
By:
this is going to sound crazy but they could have been poor parents on the day in question and still deserve huge sympathy
By:

that is not nice to read I think people must chose for themselves what they believe and forgive I want them to confess the first two lines of my post before I forgive |
By:
I will not condemn others who feel they can forgive
it is personal though |
By:

It was an every night routine for them and on the morning of Madeleine's disappearance Madeleine told Kate she had awoken the previous night and had been crying, other residents heard the crying. Before defending their actions FM it might be prudent if you acquired the facts. |
By:
You have to wonder at the mentality of some of the posters on here.
The mccanns have admitted that they left their kids every night so as they could go drinking yet some people want to defend them, beggars belief. |
By:
To have lost their daughter in such tragic circumstances ,yet still act with such dignity is a real credit to them.
Won't say a word against them and they have my utmost sympathy and support. |
By:
My only sympathy is for Madeleine.

By:
It wasn't bait .
Bet the Mccanns wish they were exemplary parents like some on here, though doubt many have had kids given their comments. |
By:
more bait
By:
Nothing to do with being exemplary parents Bobby, just responsible ones and they were anything but that.
By:
Agree with Ricki
Although they deserve to be treated with suspicion, they have still lost their daughter and clearly deserve sympathy, many parents up and down the country leave their kids at home whilst they go off to the shop for five minute, the man who runs the country left his kid down the pub! I personally can't trust anything the Portuguese police have said, they are a pretty shabby force based on their own conduct. |
By:
If the Mccans are irresponsible parents then so are 99% of the parents in the UK. The ones slagging them off the most are probably the most irresponsible ones .
