Labour was today back in charge of Wolverhampton City Council after seizing power from the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats.

Obviously not as important as a "sexist jibe" made 6 months ago by a UKIP candidate.

What else do you expect from the bunch of luvvies and paedos that infest the BBC.

Police in Keighley, West Yorkshire have charged 14 men and a 16-year-old boy with sex offences including the rape of a girl under the age of 16. The offences relate primarily to one female victim, with one allegation involving a second who was also under 16 at the time.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between 2011 and 2012. In echoes of the recent Rotherham grooming case, the 15 males, all with Muslim names, are due to appear before Bradford Magistrates Court on 30 June.

The 16-year-old cannot be named for legal reasons, but the 14 men have been named as:

Sufyan Ziarab, 22, of Keighley, charged with two counts of rape.

Yasser Kabir, 24, of Keighley, charged with four counts of rape.

Bilal Ziarab, 20, of Bradford, charged with two counts of rape.

Tauqeer Hussain, 22, of Keighley, charged with four counts of rape.

Israr Ali, 19, of Keighley, charged with two counts rape.

Rohail Iqbal, 21, of Keighley, charged with rape.

Rohail Hussain, 18, of Keighley, charged with rape.

Nasir Khan, 23, of Keighley, charged with three counts of rape.

Saqib Younis, 28, of Keighley, charged with two counts of rape.

Hussain Sardar, 18, of Keighley, charged with two counts of rape.

Zain Ali, 20, of Keighley, charged with two counts of rape.

Faisal Khan, 26, of Keighley, charged with two counts of rape.

Khalid Raja Mahmood, 34, of Keighley, charged with five counts rape.

Mohamed Akram, 62, of Keighley, charged with sexual activity with a child under 16.

Last September, the Telegraph and Argus reported that 28 men had been arrested in Keighley for alleged offences against four girls as police investigated allegations of child sexual exploitation.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police confirmed to Breitbart London that yesterday’s charges are related to those arrests, adding that arrests had been ongoing since 2012.

A total of 54 suspects were arrested across the Bradford district, of which Keighley is part, in the five months from October 2012. They followed the conviction of Shazad Rehman and Bilal Hussain for raping a 14-year-old girl “one after the other”, as well as raping other teenage girls after luring them into cars. Rehman was jailed for 18 and a half years while Hussain was sentenced to 17 and a half years.

At the time, Chief Superintendent Angela Williams said that police were aware of networks that exist between groups of child abusers.

“Obviously I cannot discuss ongoing cases, but we are aware of networks and how those involved work in an organised and deliberate fashion.”

The arrests follows the story of 1400 young, predominantly white girls who were systematically groomed and raped at the hands of mostly Pakistani men in Rotherham, 50 miles from Keighley.

It has been suggested that authorities routinely turn blind eyes to these cases for fear of being labelled “racist”.

The Labour council of Rotherham stands accused of ignoring child sex abuse on an unimaginable scale for 16 years. There can be no more serious charge against a public body. Former councillors who dismissed evidence or otherwise attempted to pervert the course of justice should be arrested. Officers who snubbed appeals from desperate children and their families have no place in our police force.
Thus far, a mere five men have been jailed in connection with the disgusting crimes in Rotherham. A further 30 are under investigation. We need a campaign to get other abused children to come forward and receive the appropriate help. We need them to identify the perpetrators. Shame and name, and shame again. Above all, we need those girls to know that what was done to them was criminal, and the way those crimes were ignored and suppressed by powerful men with a political agenda was despicable as well as criminal. To avoid rocking the multicultural boat, they fed 1,400 children to the sharks. No just God would stand for what they did.

I think A.H.HUNTER esq. Has it about right. There should be two investigations going on here. One to identify and prosecute the rapists/molesters/abusers/traffickers.
The other should be into the actions, or inactions,  of the people whose job it was to prevent this kind of despicable activity and provide safe sanctuary for vulnerable children. How many reports would a normal person need to hear before they acted...and f**k the consequences?

The whole comfortable system needs to be investigated...they're all a bunch of 'jobsworths'. But they weren't doing their f**king jobs!!

One of the very early reports of widespread abuse by pakistani men in this area was brushed aside all over the newspapers as 'blatant racism.'

The man who reported it was Nick Griffin.

Like him or not, he was right, but not one newspaper has published an apology.

The agency said two of those under investigation were serving or former Rotherham councillors.

Police have stated  that there are 300 suspects in the Rotherham abuse enquiry, and 2 of those are serving, or former, Rotherham councillors.

The former deputy leader of the shamed Labour council that failed to protect generations of children from sexual abuse last night flatly refused to apologise to the victims.
There was growing outrage over the failures by Rotherham council, which turned a blind eye while Pakistani grooming gangs sexually preyed on an estimated 2,000 girls.
As it emerged that a string of those responsible have gone on to lucrative jobs at other councils – some in charge of safeguarding children – the Labour former deputy council leader Jahangir Akhtar was asked if he wanted to apologise to the victims of sexual abuse.


In response, he shouted: ‘Absolutely not – go away.’ He refused to open the front door of his £150,000 detached home near the centre of Rotherham.
Mr Akhtar, 54, who has previously been pictured standing shoulder to shoulder with Labour leader Ed Miliband, was forced to ‘step aside’ from his role as deputy leader following allegations that he had been involved in a deal to help a relative accused of grooming an underage girl. He then lost his seat to Ukip at last year’s local elections.
Meanwhile, Shaun Wright – head of children’s services at Rotherham council from 2005 to 2010 who was forced to quit as South Yorkshire police commissioner after fierce criticism of his role – yelled abuse when questioned about the report by a reporter.



At his luxury five-bedroom house on an exclusive executive estate outside Rotherham, Mr Wright, 46, told the reporter: ‘I’m not in the public domain any more – you have no right. Just get off my property. I’m not talking!’
The council’s former leader, Roger Stone, who like Mr Wright refused to co-operate with an inspection into the affair which this week branded the authority ‘in denial’, was not at his home and failed to respond to telephone messages.



After the entire council cabinet was forced to resign, the Prime Minister said yesterday that the same phenomenon was occuring across the country in Labour controlled boroughs.
On a trip to Leeds, David Cameron promised that extra resources would be provided to Rotherham council if needed.
But he added: ‘Let’s not pretend this is a problem of money. It was mismanagement, political correctness, sexism. This is not a failure of resources, it was a failure of leadership. We need to tackle this across other parts of the country too.’

Incredibly, despite the scandal, many of those responsible for the shocking failures at the Labour-run council have walked into highly paid roles elsewhere.
The council’s former chief executive Ged Fitzgerald – accused of allowing one report warning of child sex grooming to be suppressed and another ignored – is now earning £199,500 a year as chief executive of Liverpool City Council. Jackie Wilson – who was responsible for safeguarding children in Rotherham during the years when widespread sex grooming crimes were going unpunished – now earns £90,000-a-year as assistant director for children and families in the neighbouring town of Doncaster.
Former deputy council leader Mr Akhtar – described in the report as a ‘powerful figure’ in the town with ‘influence that extended to the police’ – is a former taxi driver with a criminal conviction for his role in a violent brawl.
He came in for sustained criticism in this week’s scathing report by government adviser Louise Casey, which recorded how ‘members, officers and others spoke about him with a level of fear’.
‘Some were concerned when speaking to inspectors that what they said would get back to him,’ it said, even though he was no longer on the council.
He has been connected to numerous aspects of the scandal that led to the council failing to identify and act on the abuse of girls.
His cousin, Arshad Hussain, was named as a ‘boyfriend’ by up to 18 girls who spoke to social workers as part of the Risky Business outreach group, aimed at youngsters who were at risk of being lured into prostitution.
The married father-of-five was accused in a report in The Times last year of helping to arrange a deal where Hussain returned one of his young alleged victims who had gone missing from home to police.

Taxi drivers in Rotherham have gone on indefinite strike over new rules forcing them to install CCTV in their vehicles. The policy becomes effective Monday and is one of the key recommendations of the Jay Report which estimated that 1,400 children were sexually exploited in Rotherham between 1997 and 2013 after being trafficked by local Asian gangs.

The cost of installation has been cited by the striking drivers as the reason for their action. The town has about 50 Hackney Carriage taxis and 800 private hire vehicles which the council want to ensure retain the confidence of their public users.

Cab operators took action last weekend and protested outside the Town Hall on Monday. They have not said how long the current action will last and are also planning a “slow” drive through the town.

Driver Rajah Khan told the BBC: “It [the new policy] is draconian and punitive. We condemn those people who have been involved in child grooming but do not tar us all with the same brush.”

The new licensing policy also requires drivers to adhere to a dress code, reviews licences and introduces additional background checks.

Karl Battersby, from the council, said: “The starting point of all this is about public confidence in the trade. We are looking at whether people are ‘fit and proper’ to have a license.”

He said the council was meeting again with taxi representatives on Monday and will “encourage them to work with us rather than a situation which causes disruption to the public.”

The Jay Report was published last August and the latest move to screen and control taxi drivers belies the fact that despite the scale of organised child sexual abuse exposed, some on girls as young as nine, only a few arrests have been made. No social workers or police officers have been reprimanded.

A second follow-up report published in February by Louise Casey, commissioned by the then communities secretary, Eric Pickles, found it an uncontested fact that children in Rotherham were “sexually exploited by men who came largely from the Pakistani heritage community” and that not enough was done to acknowledge this, stop it happening, protect children, support victims and apprehend perpetrators.

Two Rotherham taxi drivers who were arrested on suspicion of sexual offences against under-age girls had their licences revoked in April. The men, aged 36 and 37, were bailed after being detained, according to the BBC.

Former police boss Shaun Wright will not face investigation over his knowledge of the Rotherham child sexual exploitation scandal.

Mr Wright resigned as a South Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner after a shocking report revealed 1,400 children had been abused.

The report said girls as young as 11 were raped and many trafficked to other town and cities in the north.

Victims were abducted, beaten and intimidated, mainly by gangs of Pakistani heritage.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) received three complaints against Mr Wright in the wake of the scandal.



They said they can only investigate commissioners if there is evidence they may have committed a criminal offence, either while in office or prior to them taking up the role.

Details of the decision were revealed at a meeting of South Yorkshire’s police and crime panel at Rotherham Town Hall this week.

A report to the meeting said: “Three complaints were referred to the IPCC in relation to the former police commissioner.

“The IPCC commissioner has recently written to the legal advisor to theeffect the IPCC does not intend to investigate the complaints further as the letters of complaint did not provide any actual evidence to support the claim the previous police and crime commissioner committed a criminal offence.

“The IPCC’s decision is therefore that there is insufficient information to suggest Mr Wright may have committed a criminal act and hence there is no requirement for an IPCC investigation.

“The IPCC further stated that if concerns arise later that might merit this decision being reconsidered, the matter should be referred backto them.”

Mr Wright resigned as South Yorkshire police and crime commissioner in September - having been elected in November 2012.


Prior to being elected commissioner, Mr Wright had been a Rotherham Council member and was responsible for overseeing children’s services between 2005 and 2010.

A spokesman for the IPCC said: “The IPCC received two referrals from South Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Panel in September and December 2014 relating to Shaun Wright, Police and Crime Commissioner for South Yorkshire.

“The referrals stemmed from three complaints about Mr Wright’s role at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and his alleged knowledge of child sexual exploitation, following publication of Alexis Jay’s Independent Enquiry into Child Sexual Exploitation in Rotherham.

“The IPCC can only investigate Police and Crime Commissioners if there is evidence that they may have committed a criminal offence, eitherwhile in office or prior to them becoming Police and Crime Commissioners.

“The IPCC carefully considered the allegations against Mr Wright, thefindings of the Jay Report and Louise Casey’s review of Rotherham MBC.

“There was no evidence, from any source, to suggest that Mr Wright may have committed a criminal offence. It has therefore been decided there is no requirement for an investigation involving the IPCC.”

TWO men and a woman have been charged by police over child sex offences as part of an operation which has now seen 19 people arrested.

Qurban Ali (52), has been charged with indecent assault, rape and procuring a child to have unlawful sexual intercourse with another.

Karen MacGregor (58), has been charged with conspiring to procure a child to become a common prostitute and unlawful imprisonment.

MacGregor and Ali are also jointly charged with conspiracy to rape.

Majid Ali Bostan (37) has been charged with indecent assault.

They have been bailed to appear before Rotherham Magistrates’ Court next Tuesday.

Arshid Hussain (40) who has previously been charged with 45 offences relating to child sexual exploitation in Rotherham, has also been jointly charged with conspiracy to rape.

He failed to attend court last week but was bailed until next Tuesday.

All four were arrested as part of Operation Clover, a joint investigation by South Yorkshire Police in partnership with Rotherham Borough Council and the Crown Prosecution Service.

A further woman has been charged with offences relating to child sexual exploitation in Rotherham between 1993 and 1995.

Shelley Davies, 40, has been charged with conspiracy to procure a child to become a prostitute and unlawful imprisonment. She is jointly charged with conspiracy to rape alongside 52-year-old Qurban Ali, 58-year-old Karen MacGregor and 40-year-old Arshid Hussain, who were charged yesterday.

She has been bailed to appear before Rotherham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday July 7.

For five years from the age of 11, Sarah Wilson was groomed and raped by Rotherham paedophiles who showered with gifts and made her feel special in what was to become one of the biggest abuse scandals in the UK.
The now 23-year-old admits she became so 'brainwashed' by the older British Pakistani men in the South Yorkshire town she considered it normal for them to expect to have sex with her in return for all they had given her.
Writing an emotional account of her harrowing experience in new book Violated, Sarah, whose sister Laura was murdered, reveals she was plied with alcohol and cannabis by sexual predators.
They habitually abused her until she was 16, when they lost interest because she was no longer underage.

The abuse, which sent shockwaves across the nation, took place in Rotherham between 1997 The year Labour were elected and 2013.
And Sarah, who is now a mother, was not alone. A report revealed that, since the 1990s, up to 1,400 young girls in the Yorkshire town had been regularly abused by sex gangs, predominantly composed of Asian men.
A National Crime Agency investigation, which could run until 2018, last month announced that it had so far identified 300 suspects
The suspects are ‘predominantly’ Asian men from the South Yorkshire town and include two who have worked for the council. Their victims are mainly white, British, underage and ‘vulnerable’ girls.
Sarah, who has waived her right to anonymity, said had no idea she was a victim of grooming.
She was raped by a 30-year-old man in a school playground at night when she was just 11, leaving her feeling ashamed and disgusted.
And it was just after her 12th birthday that Sarah got into a car with a fat 35-year-old British Pakistani man who took her virginity.
She explains: 'From the age of 11, I was showered with gifts from men in their twenties and thirties who pretended they were my friends.
'They told me I was beautiful and bought me anything I wanted: phones, clothes, takeaway food, cigarettes and, of course, alcohol and drugs. Some even claimed that they loved me. 
'By the time they took me to strange towns to have sex with them and all their mates, aged 12, I was so brainwashed I thought it was normal.'
Such was the scale of the grooming in the South Yorkshire town at the time, Sarah said 'lots of girls were being groomed like I was. To us, grooming was normal.'
Describing the horrific sexual abuse she was subjected to, Sarah said: 'Some nights, I was driven hundreds of miles away and ordered to have sex with as many as seven men in a row.'
She said refusing wasn't an option.
'How could I say no? I didn't want to be stranded with no money to get home and they'd got me hooked on the alcohol and drugs they knew I couldn't afford myself.
'Plus, they'd threatened to petrol bomb my family home if I didn't do as they said,' she said.



She revealed: 'My mum reported me missing countless times but the police barely batted an eyelid.
'The reason? In their opinion, we'd agreed to this. We kept going back to these men, so surely they couldn't be raping us.
Girls like me - and our families - were crying out for help, but no one listened. Politicians were worried that addressing the issue of grooming by British Pakistani men would "give oxygen" to racism
'As for my social workers, they put me in a children's home, where my abusers collected me in taxis every single day. When they brought me back in the early hours of the morning, the staff even paid the fare.
'Girls like me - and our families - were crying out for help, but no one listened. Politicians were worried that addressing the issue of grooming by British Pakistani men would "give oxygen" to racism.'
Sarah recalls: 'When I was 17, I eventually escaped my abusers, with the help of my mum and a friend from the British Pakistani community who intervened. By then, I was too old for the men who'd groomed me.'
Justice started to be served in November 2010 when five men were jailed for a string of sexually related offences against girls in 2010. This was later revealed to be just the tip of the iceberg.
An investigation by The Times found thousands of girls had been victims of sexual predators.
This led to further investigations and by February 2015, South Yorkshire Police said up to 29 people had been charged with child sexual exploitation offences in Rotherham.
Now free of the men who abused her, Sarah is slowly trying to move on with her life.
She said: 'The scars of years of abuse don't heal overnight.
'I'm 23 now and I still feel anxious going into town alone. I rarely use taxis, as so many of the men who raped me were taxi drivers.
'I've struggled to do the things many young women take for granted, like going to college and getting a full-time job.
'If I didn't have such a supportive family, I worry I'd have turned to drugs or crime - or that I'd be dead.'

It's bad enough Ibrahima, but it was made a hell of a lot worse by the covering up by the police and council officials just to stop accusations of racism, and keep the Labour vote strong.

I believe the breaking of the story was a major factor towards Labour's defeat in the election.

And some of those who no longer work in this borough, have got the same jobs in child services elsewhere, including one female who is just down the road in Doncaster.

Facking unbelievable.

It will take a long long while for the stench of this to go away.

The police knew what was was happening but they are so caught up in pay rises they have forgotten their ROLE.

I would not trust a policeman to shovel sh1t off the pavement, police are not fit for purpose. Police should protect the public.
