03 Jul 14 16:31 Former Home Secretary Leon Brittan this morning said he asked officials to look carefully at a dossier handed to him in the 1980s allegedly containing claims of a Westminster paedophile network. Did he not look at himself ? Shirley he knows who was named in it That's a classic ![]() |

you should have heard the **** spouted on the radio last night by Edwina Currie. She fully supported the convictions of these celebs even though the offences were years ago, yet regards her MP chums the police should not be spending lots of time looking into it because it was so long ago they should concentrate on abuses happening now.

Thanks Johnny but after the mcalpine thing you cannot mention a thing - as you say total conspiracy

says she who s hagged a married man,a fellow tory of course
By:
and she sanctioned Saville's involvement at Broadmoor
By:
as she must of heard the rumours,a very strange thing to do
By:
Possibly a stupid question but was there really only one copy of this dossier ?
By:
if dickens was really trying to act in the publics interest why would you hand a report about peado abuse to the very people your accusing ,surely he should have handed it to a newspaper and let the story run
By:
Or the police?
By:
Possibly a stupid question but was there really only one copy of this dossier ?
iirc his widow destroyed the other copy. What we do not know is if this was a serious dossier with actual evidence or a David Icke-like rant chucking darts everywhere. Most likely it was somewhere in between. |

If the Sunday Times has an accurate account then some tories are getting rather twitchy about asking questions of Britton, suggesting the process may kill him and for them to lay off him.
Rather ironic to read that over the page of the same paper the present home Secretary is attempting to get the snooper's charter back again that treats every citizen as a potential criminal when that very place have serious questions of their own to answer. |

All the govt. need to do is get the Daily Mail to run an article about it, and the whole of chit-chat will say it isn't true. Job done.

Rumours abound that Savile and Smith were named in the Files in the 80s

The daily mail would love to brush any crimes of the thatcher govt under the carpet so dont hold your breath cmat
By:
why didnt he had it to police, whats with handing it to Leon Brittan?
By:
i might be underestimating dickens maybe there were more high profile policemen than mp,s in the report
By:
what you,ve got to remember is that were dealing with an era where horrible ****s like stephen fry consider a good rodgering behind the bikesheds as part of the growing up process,
![]() |
By:
I guess it was handed to Brittan because he was head of the Home Office hence boss of the police, Currie intimated that the dossier was destroyed by a permanent civil servant from the Home Office not a MP

I'm sure I first heard rumours about noel (anagram) and his chums some 20 years ago and yes David Icke might be away with the fairies however his web site has been covering this scandal for years and he hasn't been sued for libel.Methinks some people will be sleeping uneasily awaiting the 4 o'clock in the morning knock on the door. Strange in a way that the Establishment haven't taken Icke out.

Icke proven right on many things over the years.
His views on the royal family being blood sucking lizards, may in time, be proven |
By:
Thatcher obviously knew about the scandals, but had to weigh up doing the right thing against defending her party.
And lets face it, doing the right thing was never one of her strong points. |
