I'd try & stay positive & not panic her any more than needed for her own mental sake , might help her recover that bit quicker Happy

I enjoy convalescence. It's the part that makes the illness worthwhile. George Bernard Shaw.

Best wishes to you and your beloved s.k.

I've been feeling a bit sorry for myself in the last few days but your situation puts my problems into perspective.  I hope things work out for you both.

Kenbo, two things...

The first is that, though we on chit chat are a collective shower of frogs most of the time, we do care, and will do what we can to help with advice, even if it's useless.

The second is just to hug her, hard - so much that it hurts. She won't mind, I promise. Hug her into the middle of next week! I can't promise that everything will be perfect, but it will be as good as it can be if you hold her tight.

all you can do is try and stay strong and put your faith in the consultants. In my experiences there are some damn good ones out there despite what the media might have you think. I'm fairly sure they will perform an MRI scan at some stage as they will want to know if there is any pressure on the spinal cord.

What an horrendous thing to happen to your poor wife s.kenbo, it must be completely heartbreaking for you and your family to see her in distress like this. All I can say is that I hope and pray for her complete recovery and she is back fighting fit very soon. Best of British to you both.

So sorry to read this I'm praying you will find the strength to keep going
and that your wife will be healed.
I believe in Jesus's redemptive work on the Cross for
Healing as well as Forgiveness.

It says in ISAIAH....

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
I don't know where you're at with your faith but I see you prayed in your hour of  need.

When Jesus walked the shores of Galilee  on many occasions he healed ALL the multitude without any.
suggestion that they were unworthy.
Who shall we turn to in a crisis some secular counsellor or the King of Kings?
