have i got this right? somebody enters through the open door but then opens a shuttered window and climbs out with a child in his arms ? Qu: Why not just walk back out the open door? Because they weren't expecting to find what they did when they got in the apartment ? |

Lets hope the Mets finest 'Police profilers' have been watching Kate McCann closely tonight...

those questions on bbc, show the Portuguese were not going to do extra work if Kate wouldnt even tell them who phoned the police.
Pure new management, for uk viewers consumption |

Because they weren't expecting to find what they did when they got in the apartment ?
doesnt make sense. if they werfe after valuables why would they take a kid? only being recognised would back up your theory |
|
By:
Some of the questions the Portuguese police asked hint that someone had told them that all was not rosey between Kate and the kids
39 Is it true or not that the twins have difficulty falling asleep, that they are restless and that this upsets you? 40 Is it true or not that at certain times you felt desperate at your children's attitude and that this upsets you a lot? 41 Is it true or not that in England you went so far as thinking about handing over Madeleine to a relative to look after? |

She was a beautiful child.
It must be every parents nightmare....but I've always felt that the McCanns are 'holding something back' - story changing, lack of cooperation with the pork and cheese cops, a blase attitude to leaving your kids while you go out on the lash, 'friends' that seemed to close up shop about the night in question... the truth is there somewhere and someone will break ranks one day |

Operation Grange seemed to have fooled the media that they are making progress should be good for funding for a couple more years.

Spot on, Emden.
Why won't she answer the 48 questions? Why has she took this long to co-operate in this case? Her idiotic claim tonight that "its not their fault" was incredible. Questions need to be asked about her. One day she will be found guilty over this, no doubts at all. |
|
By:
But it does make sense if going through the front door was expected/normal for the person. Only after getting in and finding what they did would they need to get back out unnoticed.
not if they were in there to burgle only....which was what i was answering on. yes the open window could be part of muddying the waters to actually still being in the room when kate opened the front door. a normal burglar would have opned the window and legged it |
|
By:
without the kid of course
|
|

doesnt seem credible that you break in looking to rob the place but decide to take a child instead and then just walk off down the street with her, next they will have sighting of him stopping off for a quick pint

no mention of the cadaver dog it sniffed all around the resort but only alerted 9 times each time at something McCann related what are the odds?

The cadaver dogs can only detect 'death' upto 28 days after its been there...........this is according to the guy who trains them. Given that they were used at the end of the July nearly 2 months after she went missing.............what does this tell you....... Perhaps the fact that over those 2 months all manner of people had brought contamination into that apartment. |

How many nights did they leave the kids out of sight/sound so they could dine out?
It was a few nights in a row? |

that's unforgivable

I think we've established that the parenting displayed by the Mccans was very poor (at best).
Im sure that Kate had crucified and tortured herself over this. Why dont people forget about their parenting deficiencys and concentrate on the case. |

I know nothing about child abduction cases. However you would say those involved were reasonably organised (didn't leave much evidence behind them).
I would say there had to be surveillance on the apartment in the days before the abduction - so the possible sightings of men in and around the area are important. Also doubt the abductor took the child and walked around the local area with her in his/her hands. Most likely scenario - I would think - is Madeline was drugged whilst she slept and either carried out or passed out the window to an accomplice. A nearby getaway car probably took them all away. Also interesting is that when the father returned he noticed the door slightly more open than usual. If this is the case, then the kidnapping had already taken place or was in progress which would narrow the timeline down to about 8.30 and 9.10. All wild speculation though. My own opinion is that it's very unlikely that she's still alive which is so sad. Also best hope of any kind of significant progress is if someone in the know comes forward with evidence. One other thing - surely the child networking gangs in Europe are known to police? Would they be known to target tourist areas? Surely English and Portuguese police must have bad a number of gangs on their radar. |

Here's where the handler explains what the dogs do no mention of a time limit. .http://www.mccannpjfiles.co.uk/PJ/MARTIN_GRIMES_PERSONAL.htm Like I say the dog went all around the resort sniffing but only alerted 9 times - each time at something McCann-related I mean the odds of this being a coincidence must be astronomical... |

the couple with the sick kid who rotated visiting had their apartment next door right?
the bloke also did check up on the mccanns kids right? how well did they know the mcanns? |

This key sighting of a man with a child here's what the witness said but not mentioned on Crimewatch:
"I would be 60-80% sure that it was Gerard [sic] McCann that I met that night carrying a child." |

You would think most things the dog was asked to look at was "McCann-related".
