seems to be the only mistake that was made was not ensuring the cadaver dogs were masons or part of the establishment.....yep....
..then they would home free....almost ![]() they (MCcanns) certainly seem to have some friends in the high echelons that swung into action very very quickly...... Clarence Mitchell appointed to them...utterly bizarre...yep. |

What are peoples theories on how they have managed to gain the support of some many people in the higher echelons of society.
Really who are these two? How far have the police gone looking into their pasts?? |

The Sun advertising a 12 page pull out on Madeleine Saturday----WHAT A CIRCUS this whole thing is becoming ---------- That figures, actually - As the same Group/Parent Company (if you will excuse the Pun) 'SKY TV' have a 'Madeleine Special tomorrow (Friday) at 7-30pm Sky News Madeleine: The New Investigation Friday 7:30pm Madeleine McCann is the most famous missing child in the world. Now, six years after she disappeared, Sky News examines a new police breakthrough in the search. Also in HD Length 30 mins News & Documentaries, News -------------------- * Might be a bit more objective - than CRIMEWATCH |

Well, I am assuming that the British police are investigating the disappearance of a child, with a view to finding that child. How and where the child is found will determine which route their investigation follows.
Failure to find the girl greatly increases the possibility of a stalemate. The police are, no doubt, doing their best but the case happened six years ago and the chances of solving it must be fading. If and when the police have enough evidence for a case, they will bring charges. Against whom, and for what, remains to be discovered. |

....and to be fair to Amoral, I agree he shouldn't profit from that book, it was
Tavares de Almeida, then Chief Inspector in September 2007, who released the PJ report THAT report concluded Madeleine McCann died in the Holiday apartment on 3rd May 2007. A staged HOAX abduction took place. The McCanns were involved in the concealment of the corpse of their daughter. |

if they accidentally killed their daughter, staged a hoax abduction, why would they bend over backwards for 6 and a half years later keeping her memory as fresh as possible? that makes no sense whatsoever
its not like their are in prison trying to clear their name, they are not suspects so why draw so much attention to themselves, they are actually bright people, bright people would want all attention to die down. Goncalo Amaral is being sued for claims he made in the book, but he stated them as probable and most likely, they were claims of possibilities in police reports in britain but not fact, the title of his book was called 'the Truth of the Lie'. And these mortgage payments from the trust - you know for 100% certainty that they happened ? They are very wealthy, why would they need help with mortgage payments, |
|
By:
maybe just one of them did it, therefore has to play along with the other parent , hasn't he, and the innocent person like most others would do everything to keep the memory fresh

The fighting fund set up to help find Madeleine McCann was used by her parents to make mortgage payments, their spokesman
Clarence Mitchell said: "The fund has always had the ability to assist the family financially if necessary." Gerry McCann, who accepts his own freedom to accuse the Portuguese of ineptitude and downright lies and various other slurs about the investigation into the disappearance of his child, is always all over the news declaring that the British Press and any authorities, British or foreign, should be denied the right to question his account of the very same thing. In fact he demands, usually through his spin doctor spokesman, the right to tell the police, that there is no point in carrying out an investigation focusing on him and his friends, the only real suspects, into the complete and inexplicable disappearance of Madeleine, all they need do is ask him what happened to her. Don't you think it's double standards? |

They were given just 4K to make mortgae payments in august and july 2007, as they had to pay 2k a month but couldnt work for obvious reasons - the fund was set up to help find her, the parents couldnt help to find her in 07 keeping the campaign going, if they were on brink of having a home repossessed, its justified imo,

how they paying the monthly repayments now ?

So are they wealthy or not?

only a handful of people know where the money actually goes - the ltd co only publishes the barest accounts each year

It's a good question but ... did they have a choice ? The story is your daughter has been abducted in a foreign country so before you know it you've got the police, media, foreign office on the case and you've got to convince them all of your story. All the advice will be to keep the case high profile for the best possible chance to get her back. Before you know it there's an unstoppable juggernaut where a lot of people have got very involved. Take for instance this Mitchell guy who is their main mouthpiece. He's obviously done very well out of this and will continue to do very well both financially and for his career as long as he can keep the juggernaut going. Lobbying high ranking government folks is exactly he wants to be doing. How were the McCann's going to tell him or anyone else involved "Actually we're not that interested any more and would rather just let the story die" ? Tricky. Not just him but loads of others - lawyers, charities, books, films, you name it. The juggernaut will continue as long as there is a lot public interest - I don't think the McCanns can stop it |

what do you think happens when you miss large mortgage payments, its the beginning, not exactly going to let them live there for free |

There may have to be an Amaral fund for his supporters to contribute.
SKY tonight - pointless, junk program only new being a McCann neighbour and a PdL resident's despair at the media intrusion. |

By:
I would think that missing two months mortgage payments would, indeed, put you 'on the brink' of repossession. Certainly, as close as one would like to go. Another two months would make things very uncomfortable, bearing in mind that the problem is caused by a loss of earnings which could not be guaranteed to be corrected in the immediate future.

I do hope I live long enough to hear the resolution of this tragedy.

Taking £4k to make mortgage payments. Disgraceful. They could have released any equity they had in the house or, if none, come to an agreement with their mortgage provider.
As they no longer publish accounts how do we know there aren't any other misappropriations? |

err--NO ![]() |

By:
I think its acceptable if they had no savings and other means of making their mortgage payments that money was used to help them from the fundraising.
However, Naydam and Ayres Rock statements that they would have been on the brink of repossession if they missed two months mortgage payments is ludicrous. In a normal situation that would be the case but what bank would possibly have respossessed the McCanns house given their circumstances. Can you imagine the headlines if a bank did such a thing. |
|
By:
The more you read about this sad case the more you have to come to the conclusion there is not one bit of evidence to support the abduction theory and infact lots of evidence to say there was never any abduction. Add that to all the unanswered questions about the McCanns.
