Bank phone answering systems
"press 1 if you are a new customer" "press 2 if you are inquiring about a loan application" "press 3 if you have recently ..." and about ten other options, each of those options has its own options. Worse are the voice recognition versions of the above (USA mainly). "Please say your surname" ... "Did you say aubergine?" "Please say your surname" ... "Did you say silica?" |

People at supermarket checkouts who realise they have forgotten something and think it's ok to disappear back in to the shop to go and find it, whilst their stuff piles up and the rest of the queue get agitated.
In such instances, I think the death penalty is fully deserved. |

People that press the button on pelican crossings, but cross before the green man and the bleeping noise comes, causing cars to stop and wait unnecessarily. When I am elected, as a deterrent, in such instances there will be a thirty second window of opportunity for motorists to mount the pavement and run down the perpetrators without fear of punishment.

The other day Newsbeat on Radio 1 were talking about the riots in Turkey in their usual style of assuming the audience are all 5 years old, when they described Istanbul as the 'nations capital'. Assume, Radio 1's audience is made up of 5yo's surely??? |

RUNNING OUT OF MILK
At least once a month the mother-in-law asks for a pint of milk as she 'suddenly' ran out. How the fack can you 'suddenly' run out. She doesn't drive (her test was a tale in itself) so Mrs SF takes her, and they do their weekly shop, banking, pet store runs all together. Seeing as there are two of us in this house, and just her and the father-in-law in their house, one could assume we use roughly the same amount of milk each week, so they should purchase the same amount. But no, that would be too facking easy!! We NEVER run out. What's so bad about giving (not lending) her a pint now and again, I hear some of you ask. I'll tell you. My father-in-law is a facking MILKMAN FFS!! ![]() ![]() |
