Perhaps I could have worded the question a little better
 ......He was the first player to score in a penalty shoot-out in a professional match in England, Hull City v Man Utd in the Watney cup. Denis Law being the first player to miss. |

My mate was a Chelsea Fan & about 1.30 on the day of the final he said fancy going, we got the train to Wembley got tickets on the door & got in about 5 minutes after it started Colin Lee scored 4 goals for Chelsea & they still lost 5-4 ! |

Went to the 5 a side think Charlton may have won it in the late 70's certainly one of the lesser lights

yes I went to the Watney Cup final (Derby 4 Man Utd 1) and the Texaco Cup final (Derby 2 Airdrie 1) with my dad. The Watney Cup was a bloody big thing similar to the European Cup and it used to be each leagues highest scorers playing for it. The Texaco Cup was a very pretty gold trophy
