I'm not religious in the slightest, and is it really about proving there is no god? Many christian charities are doing wonderful things around the world while governments seem to think the only solution is to go to war.

I couldn't agree more cardifffc. As I said I'm not religious in the slightest but I just wanted to make the point that all the sh*t that is thrown at religion some of those religions are out and making a difference. Making a difference when it comes to politicians well,don't hold your breath. |

The only way to do that would be to support the dominant religion to kill off the lesser religions and then kill off the dominant religion. Difficult to say what the latter is in the UK these days. Muslim? Catholic (mainly Polish)? Anglican with an Evangelical/African Animist core? I'm game if you can figure out what's what. Can I still worship an impressive local tree?
