Another much missed forumite who was posting regularly as usual, every day, and then just disappeared without trace is Stemac - he of 'what had he bought from Tesco that day?' fame and his wife's evening meals.
There was no hint of him leaving nor any likelihood of him being banned - he just disappeared. He was grand chap. |

Mine too, kenny - and his other musings, like what he was going to bait his fishing rod with that weekend to attract the fish (Spam sandwiches was a favourite!).
He'd then report back on the Monday with what he'd caught/not caught. He also did a detailed survey into which supermarket had the best trolleys re balance, speed of wheels etc another time - and even did a photographic quiz of 'which supermarket is this trolley from?' by just showing the colour of the handle. He was great fun! |

only five kids and does struggle to find the time. some great old names been mentioned on here. The person gogo was to meet in the pub near sandown was iconoclast slippy its amazing you remembered the girl though, it was saskia, she appeared on big brother. massive knockers. |

J P McEnroe was on for another couple of years under other names but not on currently as far as i know
Another of those is still very much with us under another name. The Groutch was banned in 2008, don't know if he came back Munch Man suddenly disappeared about 4 months ago. The others seem to have gone .Hall Green Spy was another, he used to do 30q quizzes starting about 1am  |

Good to see you post again Terrence, you are right of course, it was Iconoclast. I've got a decent memory about stuff but got mixed up there. Yep Saskia with the massive thruppenny bits, how could I forget those puppies.
 Fru T Bun is another good shout, he was from Scottieland I seem to recall. Another solid poster that has hit the wall. Stevie Strikes popped in earlier this year I think but doesn't post now, he's far too busy attacking traffic wardens these days. Dobbo is a rarely seen owl as well, I always liked Dobbo. |

Rumours of Iconoclast's death are premature. Unfortunately he never got his just desserts with Saskia, despite being first to spot her tremendous assets and provide directions to The Swan from Sandown Park for all to share the spectacle.
What ever became of The Brigadier? He has even disappeared from the UBF. I miss his accounts of £50 Daily Sport jobs in whichever Travel Lodge on his way home from watching Aldershot most Saturdays. And how pleased I was for him when he got "no quibble anal". |

I started a thread maybe 3-4 years ago "does anyone remember the poster iconoclast?" as there was a horse of the same name running that day and my memory was jolted. He hadn't been seen for years but replied on the thread saying he observed these days rather than posted.

The Groutch spoke to me on Youtube as few months after he got banned but no sighting for a few years now.
Reg Varney the racist was seen on the footie forum a month or so back if I remember correctly. Finally manxy after coming back for a very short visit has disappeared for treatment for his condition shortus penius, apparently a new stretching technique is being trialed on him & after six weeks treatment his thingy will have doubled in size, I do hope the new two inch version is to his liking. |
