When were "The Olden Days?
It's an expression that was used by my parents, and relatives etc, generally referring back to the early 1900s. Not something I have ever seen used by folks from my generation, so are "The Olden Days" still from the early 1900s? |

ribero,
Jaclyn Smith was always one of my real big favourites (as a teenager) When 20, was in New York and they were clearly doing some filming at a road junction as all the pedestrians were being held back. After we were allowed to move on, I walked towards where the filming was being carried out. And She walked straight passed me! In real life! |

Hedy Lamarr was the most beautiful and as colly' said had a brilliant mind. Invented a device that stopped the Germans intercepting the signal to our submarines.

I watched a brilliant film a couple of weeks ago with Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtney. It was called 45 Years.
. http://www.bfi.org.uk/news-opinion/news-bfi/features/on-set-photographs-charlotte-rampling-tom-courtenay-45-years It was made in 2015. Charlotte Rampling growing old very gracefully without the desire to resort to cosmetic surgery. |
