Have to disagree with you sofia.
The Human League were incredibly innovative, writing pop hits like Don't You Want me but issuing alongside them instrumental versions that have stood the test of time better.
The most interesting and innovative act of their generation, had they been on Factory records and never sold a record they would be up there with Joy Division.

Sofiakenny has got it badly wrong.

Never a fan of the Human League and similar music to that.
But 'Dare' is obviously a groundbreaking album, twinned with a great 'pop' association.
