Still managed to come up with something for her for breakfast - and she said it was delicious. Which surprised me as she hadn't stopped bleating all night. Mainly about men.
I gave her a right telling off for that! |

Now button it, or I'll come to Bradford and give you a right good Fyffing! |

Eight were breaking animal welfare laws. Slaughterhouse Suffering Campaign Resources Between 2009 and 2011, Animal Aid filmed secretly inside nine randomly chosen British slaughterhouses. We found evidence of cruelty and lawbreaking in eight of them. The problems are serious and widespread. Our films revealed animals being kicked, slapped, stamped on, and picked up by fleeces and ears and thrown into stunning pens. We recorded animals being improperly stunned and going to the knife while still conscious. We filmed animals deliberately and illegally beaten and pigs burned with cigarettes. Even where no laws were broken, animals still suffered pain and fear. And ‘high welfare’ plants, such as those accredited by the Soil Association and Freedom Food, were no better than the standard ones, and were guilty of breaches of the welfare laws. Animal Aid believes that whether ‘conventional’, organic, kosher or halal, all slaughter is unnecessary and immoral, and the only way to prevent such suffering is to go vegan. sheep taken to slaughter in a wheelbarrow How Can I Help? Choose an animal-free diet. There is no kind way to slaughter animals, and the best way to prevent their suffering is not to eat them. Animal Aid is here to help and advise anyone wishing to adopt a more compassionate diet. The slaughter industry is demanding less external regulation, even though Animal Aid’s investigations show it cannot be trusted to obey the law. Please help us campaign for mandatory CCTV in all UK slaughterhouses by ordering campaign postcards from info@animalaid.co.uk. Write a letter to your local newspaper about slaughterhouse cruelty. Let its readers know that Animal Aid can send a free Go Veggie and Vegan pack to anyone who requests one. Urge family and friends to watch our film, and and circulate it on Facebook and Twitter. Make a donation to help us continue our investigations pig screams out when slaughterman gives him a painful body stun Campaign Achievements Animal Aid is the only organisation to have revealed what is truly going on inside typical UK slaughterhouses. This is what our investigation has achieved so far: Two men were jailed for cruelty to animals at Cheale Meats after they beat and burned pigs. Our campaign for CCTV to be installed in slaughterhouses has been accepted by the supermarkets. The ten largest – Morrisons, Waitrose, the Co-op, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Tesco, Lidl, Asda, Marks & Spencer and Iceland – along with wholesalers Booker, have now agreed to deal only with slaughterhouses that have independently monitored CCTV cameras installed. Essex slaughterhouse A&G Barber Ltd closed down when its customers saw, through our secretly-filmed footage, how bad conditions were. Read more about the achievements of our slaughterhouse campaign sheep being body stunned at an organic-certified slaughterhouse Campaign History The campaign to reveal what takes place behind closed doors in British abattoirs began in January 2009 when we planted fly-on-the-wall cameras in JV Richards, a Cornish slaughterhouse. This was quickly followed by investigations at AC Hopkins in Somerset and Pickstock in Derbyshire. You bleedin' hypocrite Why should I? I DON'T EAT MEAT! |
|
By:
For 64 years you did.
You're like some rabid ex-40-a-day smoker moaning to all and sundry about the evils of tobacco when they've given up smoking. Can we please try to have at least one funny thread on here, or should we all just pack it up altogether? |
|
By:
Well you've ruined a few in the last few days with your nastiness.Just lighten up a bit, Tommy. Life is short.
|
|
By:
I know you HAVE to have the last word but I'm going to jazz night now. Nice.
|
|
By:
Nastiness? What are you getting through your gums now, kenny?
You just expect everyone to like what you like and say no more about it if they disagree with you. You are the most pompous oaf on here. |

Yet another thread hijacked by that insidious. preaching bore aka Kenny mann..
Why does everything descend down to animal cruelty jibes? I remember you saying you eat chicken and also admit to wearing leather. What a pious, evangelical hypocrite. You don't eat meat; fine, your choice and we get it. But leave your brain washing and boring soap box sermons out for the rest of us please. I am sure if anyone is remotely interested in some cherry picked anti meat videos they know who to ask! Oh and lots of thick gravy over a lovely piece of meat takes some beating ![]() |

No salad cream rob? Oops, missed this. Mashed potatoes, peas and salad cream is a very nice combo as it happens. But not with sprouts and courgettes. So gravy it is/was. |

Hello Do Wah, welcome back (again)
All I did was post what I had for dinner yesterday. Then along comes rob (predictably) taking the piss out of my dinner when I had not criticised anyone elses. Then he makes half a joke and along comes Tommy (also predictably) to say how funny that was. It wasn't! So blame the Chuckle Brothers, not me. |
|
By:
ha ha. Lighten up Kenny. Surely, even by your own admission, you are a self righteous pr1ck when it comes to all these videos and stuff. I even signed one of your petitions now I get loads of emails from these animal rights agencies. And your dinner DID sound revolting. Anyway you're alright in my book at the end of the day.
As an aside, I reckon 3 or 4 days a week I don't eat any meat. I think we could all benefit from eating a little less meat. |
