We recorded animals being improperly stunned and going to the knife while still conscious. We filmed animals deliberately and illegally beaten and pigs burned with cigarettes. Even where no laws were broken, animals still suffered pain and fear. And ‘high welfare’ plants, such as those accredited by the Soil Association and Freedom Food, were no better than the standard ones, and were guilty of breaches of the welfare laws. Why does everything descend down to animal cruelty jibes? I remember you saying you eat chicken and also admit to wearing leather. What a pious, evangelical hypocrite. You don't eat meat; fine, your choice and we get it. But leave your brain washing and boring soap box sermons out for the rest of us please. I am sure if anyone is remotely interested in some cherry picked anti meat videos they know who to ask! Oh and lots of thick gravy over a lovely piece of meat takes some beating |

All I did was post what I had for dinner yesterday. Then along comes rob (predictably) taking the piss out of my dinner when I had not criticised anyone elses. I even signed one of your petitions now I get loads of emails from these animal rights agencies. And your dinner DID sound revolting. Anyway you're alright in my book at the end of the day.
As an aside, I reckon 3 or 4 days a week I don't eat any meat. I think we could all benefit from eating a little less meat. |

Had a steak last night, but had to tip away what seemed like half gallon of juice from the steak and the mushrooms before I started eating. I'll never visit Stoke  If somebody served me a bowl of 'lobby' there could be a nasty incident.  As for cheese, it's the smegma of Satan, ask bodil, he knows. |
