£3.65 for a pint of Stella in a crappy pub in Crystal Palace, I go in there sometimes because they show the racing and my mates hang out there but 11 quid for three pints is pretty outrageous. I paid £55 for two gin and tonics at The Crazy Horse Saloon in Paris 20 odd years ago although having said that there were quite a lot of naked women doing the can can on stage at the time so I didn't mind so much.

some tight barstards pon this fred. Anything less than £3.50 for a pint in London is a bargain. For those that seem unaware, pubs do have costs other than the beer they sell, and these have to be covered or the pub doesn't exist. You should all be drinking ale anyway, not Carling you chavvy fu(kers. [:p]

Went to the arc probably 30 years ago; the year three troikas won; 8 of us were in a clip joint and Reg Boyle bookmaker; rip; went to the bar and ordered the drinks it came to £64, he said I am not paying that and the bar man told him there was a price list so he asked were it was and the barman pointed up to the ceiling, you would have needed binoculars to see it, the gendarmerie were called and poor Reg was ordered to pay Sad

A bad result for Reg but not as bad as the business man from Teesside who got mugged outside the same joint.

The absolute nectar Belgian beer.."Barbar Bok" is £2.42 for 20 x 33cl bottles & plus delivery which was £4-ish

Barbar Bok  Beer
Brewery : Lefebvre brewery
Volume : 33cl
Alcohol Content (ABV) : 8.5%

I've had three orders x 20 but, superb though it is,it's hard to stop after one bottle, as a treat, so often had two or three.

Not ordering any more now......

Paid £2.80 for 1/2 Leffe yesterday in a trendy Taunton Brasserie. I was pretty shocked but then I realised I'd have paid that for a decent coffee without a problem.

Wasn't Brazz was it??? Living in Taunton I can sympathise. Hence why the Coal Orchard (Spoons so £2.49 for Carlsberg) and the Race Horse (£3.60p for a pint of Cold Guinness/Carlsberg) are about as far as I go in town.

Just paid £6.50 for a large red wine this lunchtime in a local pub! I'd say that's a rip off! Don't normally buy wine, but it goes well with a roast Sunday lunch (which was very good and only £9.95).

all down to sacle - £4 a pint is o way expensive if that's all youre drinkling -but if youre drinking 5 pints then it's  very expensive  - there should be a sliding scale -oir maybe £5 admission then £1 a pint thereafter
