Oscar Trial Hopeless over fences, much better form over the sticks, also better on softer ground, no form whatsoever in recent runs, back over hurdles today on softer ground. Last two runs over hurdles on soft ground not heavy 1st of 11 2nd of 11 When it won in March over hurdles it had been PU on its previous run over fences as is the case today With 9st 11lb on the horses back today the 40/1 seems a fair price in an open looking race. Just in case you are referring to me, Tommy, I did not phone Betfair about the thread. As I said to Panglima before, the record thread did cause whiteouts but as it was only less than once a day I did not think it was a problem.

OK I have spoken to them, explained that it should open for reading rather than totally gone.
They will e-mail me with the outcome. Someone phoned up to complain, I thought that would have been kept under wraps ! |

It's absurd, EGG.
Day after day there are hundreds of threads on the fora that are insulting or crap. Yet Betfair (by probably one little no mark's 'phone call) have pulled and make inaccessible a well loved thread that's been going for 4 and a half years, with no abuse on it, other than from the short time a while ago when 'outsiders' were targetting it for still existing. This is a gambling forum. Even though this forum is labelled 'Chit Chat' it does so in the cause of being still gambling related, to an extent. Not about silly billys trying to court attention/dates, like we see so often on here. 'Lol'. |

Yes, I did phone Betfair about the pub thread but only to ask wether it was causing the whiteouts, not to ask to take it off. I thought the forum could have a sensible discussion about it when we had the facts about wether it was guilty. It seems that you are not into sensible discussions, only hatred. I did not phone about the record thread. It was not causing a problem. I do not post on here to court attention or solicit dates. I think you are confusing me with Greggs or ladycakes. I post the same as any other poster. You seem to take offence at my posting 'lol'. A lot of the time I am on Betfair I am betting on horseracing, playing poker, betting on specials and football, so if I come onto here I have not got the time to chat so if someone has made me laugh I think it only nice to tell them so - 'lol' is the easiest and quickest way to do it. It seems you have a problem with women, the same as others on this forum. |

You've said in the past you have been reading the Betair fora for 3 years, even though you only started posting a few months ago. Upon posting, you thought, almost instantly, that whatever you think should be adhered to and taken notice of by all on here. It isn't and it won't be. There's a certain 'etiquette' on here that you still seem unaware of. 'phoning Betfair for any grievence on the forum is just one of them. Why do you think anyone should have a discussion about the 'whiteing out' of threads with you, when you'd been posting for a couple (or so) of months - and your main contribution being 'lol' or noseing into peoples personal details - eg asking for more 'emotional' threads and people's life stories? What does it have to do with you? You're just someone on a gambling forum, as we all are. You really need to take a look at yourself. |

I think I have been posting on here for nearly a year. I did not say have a discussion with me about the whiteouts. The title of this forum is chit chat, so if I like to hear about poster's lives, and they are happy to tell me, why does it annoy you? I notice that you rarely post in the rest of chit chat, only in the pub.
