even disregarding the likes of weinland etc..it appears OBVIOUS to me that the world is heading toward something which rhymes with construction...so called minor conflicts can quickly escalate into major ones as wve found out before...its all planned.

i have as a christian , been made increasingly aware of the shall we say - absurdities within the catholic doctrine.
Quite a few of the prophetic sites would suggest that the rise of the newly formed roman empire, inc catholic church (head is obviously in rome) all fits into end time scenario. The pope has apparently just stated something along the lines of his wish for humanism to become the standard for mankind and for UN to aim for one world gov. The catholic church have lied to its members for centuries, i have no doubt about that, now i am aware weinland has also mentioned their role in upcoming events, but i would only add that if the pope does become involved as stated in scripture about rise of false prophet, then it would hardly be surprising. I also noted how weinland said 17th apr was only the start of the tribulation period, and the awful upcoming events are only as it were - in process....he wasnt copping out tho as he mentioned timespan of between 45 and 90 days before port cities are hit in usa. For myself im still not sure as i dont understand about the desolating sacrilege..ie standing in the place it ought not to...could this mean the pope on temple site in jerusalem? Anyway it wouldnt be advisable to visit america in the summer! |

Weinland has copped out. He gave a prediction for the first trumpet sounding. He now says it's sounded but won't say what it was. Nothing significant happened on the 17th which remotely matches his rather vague description of what the first trumpet sound would be like . The stories you highlighted don't resemble his advance description either.

And he doesn't even fall into the false prophet category as according to Revelation the false prophets will be capable of performing miracles. All Weinland is is a chancer playing on gullibility.

Tony is a far more likely prophet than Weinland btw. IIRC, John the Baptist wasn't a man of means, who profited from the imminent coming of the Messiah. He was a man of conviction who preached what he believed was the word of the Lord, because he thought it was the right thing to do. I'd say that makes him far more like Tony than it does Weinland ;)
Let's face it, the Jesus described in the New Testamant would have treated Weinland the same way he treated the moneylenders in the temple. |

i appreciate all u say, pool, but weinland, to be fair to him, does offer his 2 books for free on the website...he seems sincere to me, and if u listen on church website to his sermons he really seems genuine which is more than can be said both for the catholic church and the god channel lot who are indeed all for prosperity preaching.
I think the trumpets, btw are spiritual....anyway again to be fair we will find out..ok the deadline as such may have passed (my own!) but remember the tribulation period lasts 3 1/2 yrs...alls we can do is wait and see. |

ok..here's a crazy prediction for you.
Weinland is the antichrist. This pope is supposed to be the last before satan impersonates the next pope and eventually impersonates Jesus. What if Weinland is the antichrist tricking the religious world into accepting satan impersonating Jesus? This is all to establish a new world order according to predictions. Wow Can't believe i'm a) reading this, and b) talking such sh1te. |

What I don't understand is why we have to face all of this where if everything occurs which is supposed to (note the NWO prediction in the bible, mark of the beast etc hasn't occured yet), we are doomed. People who comply and 'worship the beast' will go to hell, people that don't will be murdered and tortured. What a choice. Why not at least protect the faithful?

there is another church similar to the one mr weinland frequents which say that the abomination etc hasnt happened and taking mathematical prgression and prophecy forward, that a man of perdition etc will set something up ie a peace process - around summer months....theres a good chance this will happen as pope appears to be taking on this role already....fits in quite well actually.
with regard to choice maybe God s people will be 'allowed' ie as they will presumably know what is happening when it happens - to go to a wilderness place and actually be protected. Some however, will die....dont forget many prophets and apostles etc have met with v., unfortunate deaths and many christian people have been tortured in places like china and russia. I dont see why we should really expect the christian walk to be a bed of roses, in fact, Jesus told us to expect the opposite. |

of course there are followers of christ all over the world...theres a g rowing number of christians in china, india there are christians in iraq, believe it or not...if u want to know whether jesus is who he says he is u only have to read gospels with an open mind and if u were totally sincere in your search God would show u...to me the gospels make perfect sense.
