I 1st got here Jan 2005, Opened the forum and chit-chat as soon as I opened my BF account.
I remember this and sparky's thread starting. Great place this forum. |

Study, I only found the forum by accident - 11 months after I opened my account.
I clicked on (or thought I'd clicked on!) the 'Help' tab which used to be at the top - and ended up here! Luckily, TGM had held a quiz the night before and I looked through it. It really made me laugh, so I looked in a few more times when the Supreme Quizzes were being played and decided to ask if I could join in. I blame TGM and Paul TadHunter for my downfall! |

Hello Reg.
I can understand that. I had absloutely no idea what it even meant when I first opened my account - and being computer averse, didn't fancy clicking it! |

I read it occasionally for a few months before my first post.I actually read a thread one day and realised that I knew 2 of the people on it - I just had to post without letting on who I was.I managed to have a cyber relationship with these 2 for about 4 weeks before I slipped up and they sussed out who I was.One of them wasn't too impressed - I used to drink with him every week.

My favourite fight was when 2 guys beat me up outside a club in Dublin. They broke my nose and 4 ribs but I got off several cutting remarks which no doubt did serious damage to their egos TGV was a funny bloke when he was here. |

He was indeed, Sevenone, and sorely missed.

If you hadn't have held a Supreme Quiz the night before I first clicked on here - and some of the Rampton Rejects who abound were in evidence that day, I'd have never, ever clicked on the forum tab again.

each way 29 Jun 16:17 i was in linekers tenerife for eubank watson , or was it benn ... only two cheering eubank , i was one of them , mates told me to shut the f up... ew:) I was in Linekars also in Tenerife! 4 of us wanted Eubank, everyone else wanted Watson - it was an amazing fight |
|
By:
so was it 2 or 4 cheering eubank?
i need this confirmed. |
|
By:
there were 7 of us on holiday - all 19 year old lads, 4 wanted Eubank, 3 wanted Watson. I jumped on my mates shoulders in celebration when Eubank got of the Canvas to nail Watson, it took all his skin off because he had been badly sun burned that day - I 'd forgot.
We all argued all the way back to the apartments that night, we were all shocked to here the terrible news the next day. We weren't really all into boxing except the huge fights and that era made us think that all matches would be so exciting. |
|
By:
I won quite a lot of money backing Eubank on points, in many of his fights, once a pattern had been established.

Can't let this go. Told him on the phone 2 years ago that this was still going, and he'd been left a while then.

By:
Oh right, on the one occasion I spoke with him, maybe 4 years, longer than I originally thought, he was emigrating, Spain? can't remember where. He said he wouldn't mind buying some footy programmes off me, hence the phone call. We had a good long chat. Hell of a character and a bloody good swearer. lol
