Bon Viv, whilst your offer is commendable in so much as you are wanting to raise money for your charity, I would have to say that your methods of doing so leave a little to be desired. Do you really think that after two or three commetns on here you are going to get people to travel to London to have a fight with you?? I draw my conclusions as to your personality from your postings where you offer your views on other people. When I read some of your points about lower class chavs and work shy benefit claimaints and then you start asking where the rough parts of London are, I do not feel that I am hearing from a gentleman of equal standing to myself.
As I said the other day, some of us are more equal than others, and Bon viv, where I go in London there would be no entry for someone like you, and your conduct only underlines this. I am sure your charity would be proud that you are trying to start fights with unknown people on an Internet gambling forum. |

I am not stirring the **1 (much), but how can anybody start offering out over the internet? Have never understood it. Nobody can be that confident of their own ability.
I have seen some total gorillas get the shock of their life to lightweights, internet is that x1000. You just don't know who you are dealing with. |

Stockwell and Peckham used to be the places to avoid growing up in South London, Peckham has improved with it more or less been renamed East Dulwich in parts but I would not venture out alone at night in Stockwell even now. Redbag, you can´t have been to Brixton recently I take it, the place has changed dramatically for the better.

No starting fights Prima Donna, you've abused me and cast personal aspersions which is both rude and uncalled for.I had no beef with you whatsoever but you seemed to have taken umbridge.
I stand by my views on the workshy and chavs (albeit tongue in cheek to a point as you well know) Your constant baiting the action of a "spoiler" and in real life you wouldn't use that language or actions unless you were looking for trouble. If that was the case i'm merely offering a legal fair way of sorting out your frustrations, and any money sent to a good cause. If i'd followed you around using the language you'd used to me i think you'd be rather put out. As for rough areas of London, the city and it's history has fascinated me for a long time and all i ever see and hear is "shudders" when locales are discussed,so just wondered what the viewpoint was in fairness. As to "the areas you go in London" it's quite possible i wouldn't get further than the door but i bet i've had at least 15% of every private club memeber in London at my adult parties we ran for years (also ran "rougher" bukkakes/Gb's swing nights etc in the north) I'm givng you the benefit of the doubt that you've taken a random post in slightly the wrong way (easily done)and formed your views from that (BMW 3 SERIES-!! i'm 40! for god sake ,2 yr old subaru 4x4 estate if it really matters? If you have class as you say you'll accept a minor error of judgement and offer an apology. |

Strangely, a lot of the 'nice' places are the worst
Richmond used to get all manner of **coming from Feltham at the weekend, looking for trouble The same applied to Muswell Hill with Tottenham Most of the places mentioned are a bit rough and there are shootings etc, but generally they aren't places where people are going looking for trouble with people that they don't know. |

Ghostdog 10 Jan 15:33 Once walked all the way through Deptford. I would not do it again. that would be the luvvy type that drank in the old dog ? I was looking for somewhere cheap to move to in London. Somebody told me Deptford was alright. It wasn't. Also on the way to checking out Greenwich, that was suprisingly horrible as well. Park was beautiful though. |

Perhaps the irony is perhaps lost on you Tevez we made most of our money from the so called "class" people as our main "profit" clients.Bought my own hotel on the proceeds and lost the lot but thats hardly the issue here i'm merely distinguishing what people guage as "class" was simply business(taxed as well) funded by a couple of ex army officiers

Bon Viv, I can accept that we have been a little at cross purposes. However the subject matter of a workshy benefit underclass is something that is a flashpoint for me. Whilst in an advantageous postion myself, I am acutely aware of the plight of many people, the majority of which have little or no choice in the matter. I try my upmost to aid my workers and local people in any way I can. To come on here and read such poisionous comments scattered in such a general way really gets my blood boiling. This may have caused me to overreact and as the main perpetrator I directed my attacks at you. This was perhaps wrong and for that I appologise.
As for your statment that 15% of memebers of private clubs attended adult parties you do not surprise me. The other 85% were probably at my house! ;-) |

Silvertown (NAP) - as in "what's the difference between Baghdad and Silvertown?" - DHL won't deliver to Silvertown.
About 35 years ago we played a Sunday League cup tie there; two locals lined up behind each goal and shot airgun pellets at our centre forward and centre half at regular intervals - despite us taking a couple of hefty bouncers from Dagenham as 'cover'. |

Born Grays Inn Road - and cant pinpoint the roughest. Personally found trouble from New Cross to Hammersmith, but not many places as scary as this. Am doing one before the big boys start fighting :)

Wan't against Custom House WMC, was it, or the ASTA social club. I knew al their players in the 70s. |

My nomination is the Aylesbury estate in Walworth. One of the few places in London that I've genuinely been worried for my safety.
As an aside, I tend to find that people notice crimes that confirm to their expectations. Mugging in Peckham? Well, what do you expect. Mugging in Fulham? How unlucky, poor you. I'm not saying Fulham isn't safer than Peckham, but the difference in safety between the two is nowhere near as big as people think. |

Hoss 10 Jan 19:56
I did a bit of work in Beckton, Big Charlie would know it. God what a sh!thole. It was worse than a sh1thole before they built on it, Hoss. Beckton Gas Works was the biggest gas works in the world, their land stretched from Creekmouth (Galleons Reach) down to Eisenhower Drive (half way between ASDA and Custom House on Stansfield Road. It was all marshes, apart from the prefabs around Eisenhower Drive and the housing estate at Cyprus. It's now covered in private housing, mostly non-blacks, but a lot of chinese, who cause no trouble. My betting shop was one mile away in Custom House (but the yuppies renamed it West Beckton) in Tollgate Road. And between the houses in Beckton Road and Eisenhower Drive was an abbattoir and a meat processing plant. It facking stank on a summers day and if there was a westerly breeze, all the houses had to close their windows. West Ham dog track closed in the early 70s, that was all built over with houses, and the Beckton estates were started a few years later. The only pub down that way was The Ferndale in Cyprus Place, which use to be a bus terminus, and Terry Spinks betting shop was next door, which was sold to City T.ote. |
