We may well cut the leagues to 16 each for instance, if we were to get 6 leavers from the 54. But if we say get 3 leave from 1 league and 1 leave from another, we would certainly consider your suggestion to balance them all up so they are equal numbers. Then again we would be loathe to do things the other way. ie relegate somebody in order to balance them up. Obviously the only other issue is the precedent of what we do with quizzers who leave mid season. Your idea of promoting someone from league below couldn't work in that scenario as it would ruin the league below if we were half way through already. But it is something to consider before the leagues start. |

it is with great regret that I will not be able to partake next year with the stringent question setting entry fee, lack of hardware and an increased workload, may have just been able to compete in 2010 but not fire aaway the questions before year end

surely if some people can manage 150 or so Qs then a few others would not need to contribute any

Tobers thanks for the offer but we are trying to get away from that. Everyone doing a small bit = a big effect, and that is the only way the leagues will remain sustainable.
I'm sorry we are losing you Baggers, especially after your help in refereeing and brave success in staying in your division last season. It is great we have so many acceptors so far, but plenty more still to agree. And so far we have lost... Premier SLB Championship Baggers Cola Andy Murray The Dragon and we already had a Cola vacancy from end of last season So that is 17, 17, 15 quizzers left in each division. Hopefully we won't lose anyone else and if that happens we will simply recruit 2 new Cola quizzers to make it 3x leagues of 17. |

The Dragon - well what do you suggest we do if people voluntarily leave ? We'd rather they stayed but of course we have to look to replace them otherwise the leagues will be short. |
