Me either DublinSlim - know I'm way overweight, but not what you'd call fat - I seem to wear it alright - no huge belly or anything. Was stick thin and 13 1/2 stone at 18, my big fat mate was 13 :(

try

www.weightlossresources.co.uk

the food diary can be back dated during the free trial so you can get @ 3 or 4 weeks if you remember to write your food down before starting trial.

When you input your foods and see the imbalance of carbs/protien/fat/sugar etc, you then look at which foods are delivering the excess and adjust.

It is amazing how much you will learn about food if you do this for a month. most diets can be done with simple modification, ie cook with sunflower oil not olive oil, have olive oils cold. many simple things that remove the worst offenders without much compromise.

For all the bollux diets out there the most important thing is that the ratio of carbs/fats/proteins etc are correct and within a daily calorie limit.

So so easy if you put a little effort into it for a few weeks.

ok, everyone has different views on this, but I aim to do the following:

-smoothie / oats every morning
-light-ish lunch
-normal evening meal
-drink loads and loads of water (v important and easy to forget)
-take multi-vits
-take psyllium husks
-lots of exercise

I plan not to deprive myself of anything

I'm going to eat less and move more - The doc says I have 'Metabolic Syndrome', which was news to me.
All my fat is round the middle, Arms/Legs not fat at all., and diabetic.
Since the diabetes was diagnosed I've gone from 15st 7 to 15 st. Then it seemed to stop!
Since I've been ill - a week now, It's down to 14st 8 - so it'll probably be tough for me to start with.
Add me to the list though. I will aim for 13st in 10 weeks thats about 3 lb a week.

My diet will be one of counting calories - and keeping to 1700 a day, this should do it, when added to plenty of walking, and an occasional swim.

Good luck to everyone else attempting it.
