and seriously injured an elderly man with unprovoked attacks, have got 19 and 21 years.

Who restricts the sentences the judge can apply, if in fact the judge is restricted, which I think he is?

This like many others was a diabolical crime, and yet they'll be free before they're 40.

orioles once gave me a link to guidelines but I've lost it.

What would you consider an appropriate sentence?

His final, terrified words in a call to 999 just before he was attacked were broadcast on tonight's news. Minutes later he'd been murdered.

5 years extra because we heard his last words on the news then?

There's no doubt about their guilt, so the death penalty.

What are you on about? The fact that it was broadcast makes no fifference.

The guidelines will be from the Home Office who will have an eye on European recomendations.

The broadcast.

Emergency service.

Yeah, I've got 2 kids following me now. They've been asking me for a lighter, he's chasing me now. They're trying to kick my head in.

Please hold the line.

I'm on the Marina. He's chasing me now.

Minutes later he was dead, and they get 19 and 21 years ffs

Tied to chairs and locked in a room with a male from the family of the deceased for 15 minutes.

He can borrow my pliers if he wants.

People that support the death penalty are psychologically flawed.

How would you go about attempting to change these guidelines Dobbo, as they are patently ridiculous?

So if you were the judge, what sentence (without restrictions) would you impose?

The facts are, that there was an attack on a man which resulted in his death.

They should consider the fact that some people in this country would kill them if it was their father.

No religious beliefs, in that sense. And probably not. Not really to do with whether I'd kill them or not.

And as for an appropriate sentence, 15, 20 or 25 years in the sort of establishment we have now makes no difference.

So you think they shoulkd be realeased in years to come? If so please explain why!
By:

They have been sentenced to life , the years quoted are the day the time they serve before they can apply for parole.

I know nothing of this case but I bet they had previous. I take the view things might improve if these**bags were dealt with when they start beating people up rather than waiting for them to murder some poor sod.

You never know, mitchell, in years to come things might be very different. I don't really see who you are to judge that. Perhaps you are an expert on the rehabilitation of offenders in a variety of different environments?

Look, if you want this to be purely about vengeance, then fair enough. But at least ask the family of the man who was killed. You might be surprised.
