No.

There is a large amount of data around which this UEA story has unfortunately has now tarnished. Even though its nothing to do with them.

They are not the the only climate scientists or source of climate data on the planet.

I look at photos I took 20 years ago and see how little haze there was compared to these days, its frightening.
Off course global warming exists, and of course its man made, anyone who claims otherwise is a fool.

it's nature. get over it. probably the earth has changed many times since its creation. once we had an iceage then once you could walk to europe

in fact we've been in an ice age in a general sense for the last 2 million years or so, its just that there are warmer periods in between the colder ones. at the moment we are in a warmer period but some time in the next few thousand years we are likely to go cold again

Global Warming is a convenient explanation for natural climatic change. The planet is forever evolving, little would be down to anything man made.

Changing - yes clearly.
Man-made and can we make a difference? - not convinced at all.
Should we try? - to some extent yes.
What must we do? - adapt to live with the changes such as relocate away from flood areas and adapt housing to minimise flood damage etc. Withdraw from fossil fuels and consume less.

Sir Denis Eton-Hogg records only go back to the last 50yrs if that, so how can they say this has never happened since the earth was created then.

one of the main problems is that the average joe has absolutely no concept of basic earth history. global temperatures HAVE fluctuated in the past but this is (roughly speaking) every few million years or so. for THE VAST MAJORITY of the past global temps have been very constant. the fact that they are changing so rapidly JUST AT THE SAME TIME THAT MAN IS PUMPING CO2 INTO THE AIR is a remarkable coincidence if not man-made
