Cheers for film suggestion SS. None of my movie apps have a stream and the film websites are either blocked by virgin or asking for my card details so havent watched it yet. Dont normally like DJ outside of F & H but will continue looking.

I've had a copy of the Illusionist on tape for some years and never got round to watching it, until today that is. Thanks to recommendations on here I've just watched it and what a clever movie it is, has to be among my favourites now, brilliant!

I always compare that to The Prestige, and The Prestige is far superior imo. A very good film.

One of my all time favorites

Bale is brilliant in it and his main trick is brilliant but so obvious how he does it

His enemy/friend as pointed out by Caines character wants it to be more, human nature to think something is so complex but isn't

It may be obvious how he does it, but there is still the ‘reveal’ at the end. That wasn’t so obvious.

Audition is a great shout zorro. Blew my mind when I first watched it, disturbing.

Another, even more unusual, Japanese movie and one that's a bit of a cult favourite, is:
