i don't really get that, could of run in the adonis, anyway he ran ok but not sure what he achieved and how many triumph winners ran in a kempton handicap before winning the race, so not sure i'll be interested in playing him now, will have to have a ponder

To keep his handicap mark for the Fred. Currently he's run 3 times with a mark of 142

off a mark of 142? don't really see that myself but up to you if you think that is feasible

I wouldn't bet it myself just expressing my opinion as to why it run on the flat with three runs over hurdles already

Divin Bere was second last yr off 139 I think

so if that is the reason he ran on the flat, you do think a mark of 142 is feasible?

Harry imo i don't think he's good enough for the Triumph so if the trainers thoughts are the same why run in an Adonis maybe come 2nd or 3rd and get a lb or 2 for it or give the horse a spin on the flat. I really don't see it as a negative, although it does depend what way you look at it

I have bet Kurka for the Fred Winter and he ran lto at Dundalk instead of taking on Mr Adjudicator & Farclas do i see this as a negitive towards my bet? Not I'm the slightest

that hasn't been a great race for providing Triumph winners lately, but that was mightily impressive! Redicean has shown at least as much as Apples Shakira and is available at more than double the price

Very happy with that, and today has paid for everything

I was impressed with Redicean. Not sure what he'd beaten nevertheless, I liked the way he scooted to the line full of running; his jumping had improved a lot too.

A serious challenger to Apple's Shakira? I hope so.

Apples is a decent lay in this.
yes she has course form but think there are a couple of credible challengers now.

Apple's Shakira is certainly opposable but is she really (to quote @Callisto-moon) "a decent lay"? She deserves to be favourite and 11/4 or 3/1 is not outrageously short imo. If the Fred Winter shows that the Irish juveniles are far better than the home team, or far worse, then things may look different on the day.

we all value decent differently.
Plenty to oppose her with.
Not at all suggesting she has no chance but think she shone early
and now others are throwing their hat in the ring.

Redicean looked a class act there to me. I'd make him challenging for favouritism in my book.

Yeh,hes very good.Jumped better than last time i saw him and showed that turn of foot again.
Think the 2nd could be pretty useful as well given time.
Great day out,bl00dy cold though, but the sun was out and Redicean certainly warmed me up.
Buveur Dair and Might Bite worked after racing which was a bonus, and got some nice photos for my collection.

All for a fiver.....cant be bad.

was only a fiver to get in Kempton yesterday? I would have gone had I known!

Redicean has more gears than Katchit, according his his trainer Alan King. Let's hope he's right (I'm on), and I've not had a "proper" Triumph winner since Mysilv, Oh So Risky and Kribensis - yes, it is that looooong.

6/1 (here) but generally 5/1 with most bookies.

I think we've already seen he has more gears that Katchit.

Dont think I've seen another horse finish a race so quick this season . 6/1 on Redicean looks smart EW bet

Was £20 on the day, but the owners of Kempton and Sandown send me occasional e-mails offering tickets for a fiver.
Got one for the last meeting when Redicean won,one for Saturday, and got another for the Sandown meeting the Saturday before Cheltenham.
Loads of people had them Saturday,so guess you just have to get on their e-mail list.

Redicean is attracting a lot of supporters here but I'm also looking for a serious saver (a winner). Is Apple's Shakira the real deal? 3/1 (nrnb) is a bit skinny...the 7lbs mares allowance is attractive though.

You know as much as anyone else on here, take 3's if you fancy the horse.
Tough race as always.

By:

Her price is extremely punitive for what she's done. I think that is mainly to do with being in the care of Hendo otherwise a more accurate price would be nearer 8/1. Maybe I need to play in-running for a bigger price.

i d be very surprised if apples shakira can beat redicean . hes very powerful , i know he doesnt have requisite course or going form . power gets you through bad ground and he has the most of it and speed to boot .

Redicean very impressive last time out and King knows whats needed to win the race.

I hope Redicean can do the business for King as he could do with a winner!

Apple's Shakira is as short as 11/10, crass or JP's money?
