Now that's settled. It's a definite. Supreme it is. Henderson said so. Time to pile on for the Champion. Laugh

this is what he said as posted in the Irishracing.com

"He's very good and he goes for the Supreme," said Henderson.

"I have been speaking to AP (Tony McCoy), Frank Berry (racing manager) and JP McManus (owner) and that is the plan, I believe."

I like the i believe bit get out clause for when jp changes his mind

I've been scratching my head over this ever since they confirmed him for the supreme, I immediately checked the market on here expecting him to be trading at about 5.5 for the champion, but to my surprise he's trading at 50's for the champion!!! I do have this right don't I, he has been confirmed for the supreme hasn't he?

He's been confirmed for the Supreme, but that can change.

Interesting that several firms put him in as second-fav for the CH with a run.

Older viewers have been down this path many times before. Plenty of big races - Champion Hurdle included - have been won by supposed non runners.

If you are backing him for the Supreme, make sure its NRNB. And don't lay silly prices on the CH market, just in case.

Speculation around in places that MTOY may be switched to the Champion Hurdle maybe because there is confidence around Jezki. Personally think that would be a mistake. Make A Stand did it all those years ago (Betfair/Champion double).

What do you make of that?

Story dated 11 Feb. Hasn't this been superseded by subsequent comments?

Has anyone else heard the rumours that if one of JP's was switching (say if Binocular got injured) for any reason it would be Jezki rather than MTOY?

No

Was talk at a preview tonight that Nicholls and Tanya Stephenson believed MTOY may still run in the Champion

I'm sure Binoculars medication has been carefully handled this time, no chance of him coming out and forcing their hand........Wink

Certainly looking weaker on the supreme market as the hours tick by! 5k wanting to lay last night, still there now jumps a leap to 3.05 to which 111 wants a shot at the actionConfused
And has hovered between 50-75 in champ last couple days. Am tempted to have a go at champ, at 50, be a nice little trade!
Have laid off my entire bet on supreme now fully green on both mtoy and jezki!

2/1 is about right seeing as there is 7/4 available on the high street.

McCoy confirms he rides MTOY. On having the option of two horses - "This was not a hard choice as I think he is a really good horse."
