Graham Lee is a top jockey but he'd not be the first person to spring to mind.

I think Timmy Murphy will get the leg up! Can't see it really matters though, he seems pretty straight forward!

lee has had big winner for owner and trainer before and is very much a get stuck in jock like jm which seems to be what the horse needs

Costello could be a good shout. He is the most improved rider this season. B Hughes also getting better all the time.

Graham Lee would be best if Maguire isnt available. Ridiculuos of they dont re-arrange Maguire's suspension dates he has worked for this ride all year.

dougie has always been a very talented rider.he is blossoming this season and getting good outside rides his talent deserves,no one could have given rec proof a better ride.

If Jason doesnt win/defer appeal...Ruby will ride PC.

Ruby a good shout. Would prevent an awkward situation re Townend and Hurricane Fly. Ruby has only ridden The Fly twice and one of those was in France. Be a big difference for Lee riding all of Ferdy's rags to then being on the Champion Hurdle third favourite. At least Ruby is used to riding class horses.

Ruby will be on Hurricane Fly. I can't see how this is even a debate tbh

When: 26 Feb 11 13:37
Dont know how true this is, but apparently at the exeter preview night Nicholls thought Ruby would ride Peddlers and Townend on Hurricane, like I say dont know how true, was anybody at exeter ?
By:

When: 26 Feb 11 13:39
i wouldnt back ruby to be on peddlers at 33/1. fill my boots on g lee tho
By:

When: 26 Feb 11 17:32
^^^ if appeal doesnt work out then reve is right, connections wouldnt want ruby even if available.
By:

When: 26 Feb 11 18:15
Paul Townend apparently rides Hurricane Fly leaving Graham Lee or Ruby Walsh free for Peddlers Cross.
By:
revedesivola
When: 26 Feb 11 18:21
i dont see why a trainer who has used ruby walsh once would even consider to use him in the champion hurdle.
By:
Ballydoyle
When: 26 Feb 11 18:22
Because he's one of the best around with bags of Cheltenham experience perhaps?
By:
revedesivola
When: 26 Feb 11 18:34
hes always been one of the best around and donald has used him once. is there any betting as to who rides?
By:
manyana
When: 26 Feb 11 18:37
ruby.
By:
gutfeeling
When: 26 Feb 11 18:38
they have no interest in ruby whatsoever...yes he is a great jock but even if he doesnt have a ride he wont be on pc.
By:
manyana
When: 26 Feb 11 18:41
Tbh..as long as the horse gets there in one piece, I dont care who rides...one of the most straight forward horses to ride imo.
By:
SLS
When: 26 Feb 11 20:22
No chance it will be Ruby, Timmy Murphy seems to be picking up quite a few rides for DM notice he rode a winner for the yard today, he would appear to be a logical choice.
By:

When: 26 Feb 11 20:28
1/5 graham lee, 9/2 timmy murphy, 66/1 bar
By:
Slabster
When: 26 Feb 11 23:28
If he were mine I'd put Paul Carberry or Davy Russell up!
