ill ride it but as a layer at 6-1 cant promise ill throw the kitchen sink at it.

I think Timmy Murphy will get the leg up! Can't see it really matters though, he seems pretty straight forward!

lee has had big winner for owner and trainer before and is very much a get stuck in jock like jm which seems to be what the horse needs

Costello could be a good shout. He is the most improved rider this season. B Hughes also getting better all the time.

Graham Lee would be best if Maguire isnt available. Ridiculuos of they dont re-arrange Maguire's suspension dates he has worked for this ride all year.

dougie has always been a very talented rider.he is blossoming this season and getting good outside rides his talent deserves,no one could have given rec proof a better ride.

If Jason doesnt win/defer appeal...Ruby will ride PC.

Ruby a good shout. Would prevent an awkward situation re Townend and Hurricane Fly. Ruby has only ridden The Fly twice and one of those was in France. Be a big difference for Lee riding all of Ferdy's rags to then being on the Champion Hurdle third favourite. At least Ruby is used to riding class horses.

Dont know how true this is, but apparently at the exeter preview night Nicholls thought Ruby would ride Peddlers and Townend on Hurricane, like I say dont know how true, was anybody at exeter ?

i wouldnt back ruby to be on peddlers at 33/1. fill my boots on g lee tho

i dont see why a trainer who has used ruby walsh once would even consider to use him in the champion hurdle.

Tbh..as long as the horse gets there in one piece, I dont care who rides...one of the most straight forward horses to ride imo.

No chance it will be Ruby, Timmy Murphy seems to be picking up quite a few rides for DM notice he rode a winner for the yard today, he would appear to be a logical choice.

They have to move/recude the days so Maguire can take the ride he has worked for all season. Cheletenham has to be considered for bans like this no-one goes out of their way to get a ban just before the Festival. Common sense needs to prevail hopefully he will win his appeal.

I too hope Maguire wins his appeal but if he is unlucky then I believe Ruby will ride PC and win!

I'd go for Dougie Costello but it won't happen. They know this ban is unfair and in the racing public's eyes is very very wrong.

How can they deprive the guy from riding a horse who is near fav for the Champion Hurdle without looking like a bunch of hanging judges?

The cost financially is bad enough but it's as near to mental cruelty as you can get.

JM has spent all season dreaming of winning the Champion Hurdle, put in countless hours toward his preparation and they think the ban is fair. I doubt it!

Theres no better rider of a hurdler than TOM SCUDAMORE. He never gets caught out at the start ,sticks to the
rail and is a good judge of pace.
