yeh Brigust,he ran well and jumped very well,but agree re the Arkle.He has to improve on that,but its possible he could.

|
By:
Excellent let's hope you are telling the truth.
| ||

Dan Breen has very very little chance in this seasons Arkle based on that, he wouldnt have won if Scudamore hadnt forced the second right across the track and virtually into the rail, didnt change whip hand as he knew he would lose if he did.

I see YBM is being his usual self
![]() Whatever wins he will have claimed to have backed it in a "Combi" treble ![]()
|
By:
zilzal1 you should not cast aspersions as we all know everyone stopped placing Antepost Yankees as a bad idea when we reached 19.

By:

But Kirkybabes, at least he's telling us prior to the event
![]() I remember you had covered nearly all of the 1000 guineas field a few years ago and still couldnt get the winner until after the event ![]() ![]() ![]()
|
By:
Well you can see my slips I have them here ... just say when.
![]() I dont place Yankees though or Canadians,Heinz's, Super Heinz's, Goliath's though did all of these in my yooth. Never sunk to a Union Jack though ![]()
|
By:
Why do you keep slips from many years ago
Didnt even think that firms sent em out anymore , unless you copy betting slips , and then you are in "Problem territory"![]() And why is it"So Important" on a anonymous betting forum to make people think that you are "A Winner" Self doubt issues mate ![]()
|
By:
I dont care, just answering your erroneous accusations. You were never great at antepost predictions on here and find it difficult to accept anyone else can be.
![]() | ||
|
By:
LOL, i remember the last twice that you backed Kauto
![]() Toys went flying out of the pram then I must admit that you are unsurpassed in selections after the event though it is however, a tiny bit easier then![]()
|
By:
And you DO care, why else would you try to arrange to meet up on a racecourse
![]() However there are enough deluded nutters in the world already without agreeing to meet them ![]()
|
By:
You are a little unfortunate in that maths is not your strongpoint and certainly antepost techniques. We dont all bet in the same way. Presume you had a bad day coming on here looking for trouble with lots of smileys to show how clever you are ... not?
| ||
|
By:
I didnt arrange to meet you at a racecourse are you on something here ... how much did you lose today?
| ||
|
By:
Its not the flat season silly

My recent bets on Kauto have been -
Predicted he would fall in Queen Mother due to low jumping early career .. pointed out Evens Billies bad price and wished was a layer (for once) ![]() Backed Gold Cup and covered with Denman -Denman won Last and previous seasons King George backed to win and held the bet. Backed in a double the Gold Cup with Big Bucks 3s the Stayers last season Posted on here evening before Gold Cup was laying off most of return on bet due to clerk watering and forecast rain. Posted my position up on Betfair. Won around 12k Backed in double with Frankel 8/1the Guineas ... lost You see I realise I have proven you wrong a lot, it isnt because I lie it is because I am not bad at antepost after lots of practise. ![]() You carry on with your random groundless attacks at a stranger on an antepost forum.

Eric / Kirk / YSM clearly isn't old enough to legally go in a betting shop so his dad must give him some slips and a pen to occupy him while he has to wait outside - he then fills them in when he know the results

I can't believe this idiot is taking the p i ss out of me about my AP yankee.
I was going to ask him how he would put 4 horses together to better effect but then I realised he is probably still reading the dictionary I advised him to read. So forget my previous advise re: go to the letter 'f' and find 'f u c k off' then follow instructions. This time go to the letter 'b' and find b o ll o c k s.
|
By:
AP yankee's, lucky 15 , multiples in general should come with a health warning brigust.
| ||
|
By:
I know. It was just something that came to mind when I had my 4 selections in front of me. Sometimes they all come up and hey ho you think I wished I had put them together, especially when were including a 40's and a 20's. What made my mind up for me is the fact that the strongest selection was the last one. Makes laying off a lot easier if the others oblige.
How would you do it? | ||
|
By:
I wouldnt if im honest, wait until they go NRNB to place any mutiples. For instance on an antepost yankee where one horse becomes a non-runner it wipes out 7 of your eleven bets.
| ||
|
By:
I agree but the 40's was about to go to 16s and the 20s to 14s so my hand was forced. I only staked 55 and the return passes 30k so I thought it was worth throwing a few bob at. Put it on with Sids.
| ||
|
By:
Worth the risk sometimes alright, best of luck with it
| ||
|
By:
You shouldnt normally back in any more than antepost doubles unless you are v good mathematically... and that isnt the end of your work either if you do it properly.
| ||
|
By:
I was taking the first Casio pocket computer, programmed in Basic, into bookies over 25 years ago to place positions mathematically antepost. Yankees are a no no antepost, Lucky 15s might seem good geting twice the odds one winner (if they still do that) but one loser and most of your stake is lost. Getting a Yankee up day of race is hard enough, antepost a drop in the ocean.
| ||
|
By:
Thanx Goretski. Not what I normally do you just have to look at the possibilities and decide from there. I don't think there is a certain way to do anything, circumstances dictate.
| ||
|
By:
Eric, stop trying to teach your Granny to suck eggs. You may have taken a Casio into the bookies with you but did you take your brain?
The two important horses in my AP yankee, which I have already backed in singles and doubles, were 40/1 is now 12/1 and 20/1 is now 14s. If they run they will be significantly shorter than that on the day. The 4th horse which is the final runner in my yankee is my, and many others, banker of the meeting. It will be short so I can lay off any amount if I wish. Pray tell me why this is a 'brainless' thing to do and only for betting novices.

Both pundits on ATR very negative about Starluck re the Arkle there wondering why they are even considering this route when he lacks size and scope (as also mentioned by McCoy) and doesnt seem in love with the stiff Cheltenham track, pointing out you dont win Arkle's on the bridle you have to go hell for leather two out and the horse is not an Arkle winner.
Anyone think Fleming is enjoying the attention he could drag this out.
|
By:
^^If you think anyone on this forum is one bit interested in what you say you are one very deluded individual.
You haven't had a bet on this horse so f u c k off and find some corpse you can get some pleasure from.
|
By:
Brigust1.....just ignore the little man. He is clearly on Captain Chris (even less likely to run than Starluck!). He is clearly terrified that Starluck should run else he'd just rest. However, I get the feeling he is a loner and needs some attention. Best let him mess about on here to get his attention kicks as it could manifest itself in far worse ways......he could end up being the next Ted Bundy and we wouldn't want that.
| ||
|
By:
You dont know what my positions are old boy. Good luck with your antepost yankees.
| ||
|
By:
lol at last you are showing imagination.
| ||
|
By:
Fleming said a decision would be made Sunday or Monday as the owner is back in the country. Can see him wanting to headline grab for longer always thought Fleming loves the attention this horse brings him.
| ||
|
By:
Eric critising someone for trying 'to hog all the attention' - God bless him
![]() | ||
|
By:
It did make me laugh too Unclepuncle. I also found it ironic Eric preaching on about the safety of Starluck while at the same time declaring himself desperate for the 'lets jump to the right' Captain Chris t run t left handed Cheltenham.
