The judges ringside see things better than us, so if 3 of them had Bellew up here, and Brooks up v GGG than shouldn't really doubt it imo, not unless it looked really really wrong, but all 3 don't usually have it wrong, at worst there's one rouge judge like in the Canelo v GGG fight #1.
I remember there was talk of Ward fighting Joshua - one of the most ridiculous step ups beause Joshua would have been way too big for him and Ward couldn't get away with his sneaky headbuts. Usyk would go the same way, someone of Whyte's natural size would beat him. |

Lol that is utter tripe scandinavian_haven. If anything the judges have a worse view than the TV audience, and it's also easy for mug judges to be swayed by the crowd cheering Bellew hitting air, and doing nothing for Usyk's punches.

But I remember going way back to some of my early days of watching boxing. I think it was like De la Hoya vs Trinidad, the scorecards in that were like as plain corrupt as it gets. They didn't even make sense, they looked like judges scoring it dodgily then trying to keep it close, as De la Hoya should have won but gassed, last 3 rounds didn't even throw a punch, but the judges had him winning rounds he didn't throw a punch in and losing rounds he was utterly dominating.

I would actually say the same to you if you think the view is better ringside than on TV. You only see 1 angle from whatever side of the ring you are, and being up close the view is actually much worse.
And judges are 100% swayed by audience, either that or even more than people would say are plain corrupt. There's a reason it's called home decision, and certain places you couldn't get a decision if you won every round. |

It's 100% the case, I don't know how you can think the judges have a better view, your view is much worse standing on 1 side of the ring.
