Parker is too nice, should of been raging. Sure enough the sky interviewer didn't mention about the state Whyte was in after the knockdown, if that was an away fighter it would of been well stopped.

They won't be able to hide behind excuses forever, by next year it will happen imo, and imo next year is when Eddie wanted it to happen all along.

The only way it won't happen is if he could make Fury instead, but that's even more impossible to make. Fans will rage if he tries to sell Joshua vs Whyte 2 or Joshua vs mandatories too many times.

Scores were not bad at all for Parker on the cards, what was wrong with the judges?

Agree

But the ref made sure Whyte got back onto his feet, he was down for about 20 seconds ffs LaughLaugh

I've never see anything like it tonight, that was another level of epic skullduggery

Naseem Hamed did all sorts of WWF moves in his fights.

I agree. Could have easily waved it off, Dillian was so wobbly

The money is gonna come too hard to resist eventually. Like what is Wilder gonna do, go on fighting mugs for 1/10th of the money for the rest of his career.

It's risky too, look at his last fight, he loses and the cash cow is gone. And ultimately the probably know they have to come here to make it happen, unless they can actually deliver on this $50m stuff, which they probably wouldn't when it comes down to it.

Fury's next opponent is less of joke than his last one although he is 1.03.

If he doesn't look terrible then he will be not far out of the mix.

Did he get his opponent into a headlock?

the end went over my head, but having watched it back Whyte should have been counted out

The ref stood there for 5 seconds before counting, then gave him another 10 seconds to get up Laugh

It was like watching a last man standing match and the ref was down as well

yes I'd agree that Eddie wants to control everything and do the fight when he/McCracken/AJ wants it rather than Wilder dictating proceedings. which is why it's possible Wilder will be awkward and refuse to fight in April unless they meet some ridiculous demands

Yes but problem is he has 4 fight contract with Frank, thus Fury vs Joshua cannot happen anytime soon, and won't happen probably until 2020.

Will Tyson wanna fight against a Eddie fighter after watching that?, not to mention some of the other Eddie fights we've seen

Eddie's laughing to the bank anyhow. he's got so many options, and all he has to do is offer most of them and they can't say "thank you Eddie, when's the date?" soon enough. he controls the whole landscape bar Wilder

It is McCracken and Eddie that don't want the fight. Wilder would take it.

And yes Naz got his opponent in a headlock. DDT's, bodyslams, Naz had all the tricks up his sleeve.

Go to like 1:15 in R2 to see Naz headlock DDT Barrera in R2.

Eddie imo just wants to delay it. Also ultimately AJ is dictating to Eddie, he has too much power that Eddie can just control him to stop the fight like that anyway.

Tyson's shot. he's trying to figure out the best way to cash out and maximize his money from doing it.

Cheers

It shows what a farce professional boxing is sometimes, you wouldn't get away with this c*** in a local fight

There might be other more cynical reasons Eddie is delaying it btw. He's trying to sign Wilder to DAZN in America. In other words he'd control all the shots then.

Good shout. Wilder could well cave eventually because he's being paid a pittance by Haymon compared to what AJ is earning

they should be warned after the very first illegal move and docked a point, 2nd one = disqualification

I doubt Warren will be able to extend the deal if Fury is looking good so would maybe try to make the 4th fight a big one.

Fury fighting obscure guys is surely not going to make Frank much money.

It will come down to if either side wants silly money to make it happen, as there won't be silly money available, but still good money.

BT Sport are paying Frank/Fury

By:

I don't really get Frank's plan with him full stop, he surely knows Fury is just gonna f off to fight AJ eventually for no benefit to him. Fury supposedly wants easy knockover jobs to start, and I guess it's all been dictated to in his 4 fight deal from the off, it's probably pretty much planned who he fights, but he's got to step it up quality wise eventually.

Well done to DW backers, esp one's who backed points

Just not DW himself lol

But yer BT are paying way more than Sky anyway. Supposedly their budget for regular Saturday fight night is like 2.5x that of a Sky Saturday fight night.

This is basically what Fury wanted to do with Hearn and Matchroom. Sign to fight 4 times, and fight 4 low level opponents. But Hearn wouldn't agree to it, so that's why Fury ended up signing with Frank and BT
