Mactheknife you trolling? Jesus mate Groves hasn't fought a single fighter worth his weight yet, and Froch has been at the top of his game for a decade! No doubt Groves has improved recently but this is a HUGE step up, one I don't think he really deserves. Froch took the fight cos its a good payday and he knows he will knock Groves out.

This fight goes only one way for me and that's a Froch KO. Really looking forward to it, nonetheless.

..................................................

You cant hit what`s not there m8.
Groves has too much movement for Froch and he has proved he can do it for 12 rounds at high class.
Froch is one dimensional,he is matched fine against men who will stand and fight him toe to toe.
He was schooled by Dirrell, how did he get that decision btw?
Ward, well he was never going to win that against the top man was he?
totally outclassed in every department.

sky have done a great job of selling this fight.  In all honesty though it's about levels - Groves isn't in the same league as Froch.  He may run for a few rounds and win a couple in that way, but as soon as Froch catches him it's all over.  Froch by knockout in a very easy night's work.

Froch looked worried yesterday, too worried.

More i think about this, the more i think Froch just walks straight through him.

Groves has improved but he didnt beat Degale, was getting tagged by Sierra frequently and was allowed to continue by the referee in the Anderson fight when other fighters would have been stopped.

To critisice Froch's resume is ridicoulous.......the mans fought every top super middle from the last 7-8 years and lost only twice.......he's an outstanding talent who doesnt get the credit which he deserves for his skills because people remember the fact that he's as tough a guy as you will ever see step foot in a ring........Groves has talent but he lacks Carl's bottle and will to win, you get the impression Froch would literally die in the ring rather than give up. All about levels and there's league's between these 2 for me.

Froch stops him inside 5.

I stopped reading when you said he didn't beat Degale...

For me he didnt Rhino, remember having Degale by 2 rounds. Fair enough GG got it on the cards but the consensus amongst the media scores and experts was that Degale beat him...........and Degale isnt exactly doing anything since so the form line for Groves isnt great.

Watch the Sierra fight, the guys crude and was regularly tagging Groves......am struggling to understand how some are now making him out to be some kind of slick defensive counter puncher.....he's anything but. Decent power i'll concede but dont think he takes a shot or pressure that well tbh........probably the two things you need if your facing Froch.

bang on Jimmy.

Rhino I don't think anyone could dispute the Degale fight was very very close and could have gone either way.

Not getting the consensus on this ....... seems to be  'Groves has never fought at the top level so he is out of his depth'  erm , until he gets there we don't know .

Groves CV is no worse than Froch's was 5 years ago , before he stepped up against Pascal .

Groves has sparred Froch , and , yes , he was put on the floor, but this fight is only happening because Groves made such a good and relentless job of calling for it, so i think he must have got the sense from the overall sessions that he can do this .

Of course Froch is a worthy fav but 1/4 seems crazy to me.

The one sided nature of this thread is in contrast to other opinions seemingly.... Bunce,Kessler and Virgil Hunter all picking Groves

Saver on the draw just in case Groves performs like I don't believe he can
By:

pretty sure Kessler picked Froch, 'cant really take Hunters opinion seriously.

Virtually every poll I've seen is around 80/20 in frochs favour.

we may not know, but we can judge and form an opinion through ones own eyes, and in mine i see a fighter who will not be able to trouble Froch at all. Froch is levels above Groves imo.

i see froch ko, early !
froch isnt the greatest technical boxer, he can look really really slow, but when he just goes for it , like in his last few fights hes at his best.
groves cannot ko him
isnt nowhere near classy enough to "box" him for 3 rounds nevermind 12
groves has pi  ssed him off, which i think will make froch go for it early, and then tell all that he was right in saying hes just a domestic level boxer.
IMO...obviously...

Chuck Jones is available at around 200-1.  That's about a high price I've ever seen in a boxing match.

These types of mismatches should not be taking place.

no betting opp's in the cambell fight, smith was 4/5 inside the distance.

5/6 corolla not to go the distance

200/1 a boxer as you say, shouldn't be allowed

played under 7.5 rounds in Froch-Groves at 15/8.

Ill hold my hands up if im wrong but i think Froch just walks Groves down and takes him out inside 5.
