i must admit, i am finding it hard to follow through with my lay after tonite's show, i know im laying someone who might actually win and never go above 5 ish again.
i dont think its a question of Corin actually winning the show, its the reality of the others throwing it away.

mario during the mole task was odds on, now he's a love sick rat.
jj then came into play, very funny and entertaining...then turned pychio.
steve i think will come runner-up, down to being blown up.
which leaves josie, everychance...will she fall at some hurdle ?

the winner comes from above ( apart from mario )

i am going to lay corin tonite although every part of me says dont but im a gambler and like to take risks, you have to take big risks in this game if you want to get a big pay off.

The big pay off comes with not laying off and putting more on someone you see as the likely winner.

i know mate, i think its crazy to lay tbh...she will probably be 3.0 in a week but im bored Sad
she's had some serious airtime, im hoping she may drift back out to 7 ish as others get tasks...really need josie to get into the mix, then we may have a flip/flop with them two for a short while....then get back on the taxi.

Page 7 ^^^

Pages 8, 9, 10, etc, all very similar.

3-3.5 seems a fair price to me argmanac.

I know it's early days, but it doesn't look like a house full of potential winners to me.

Josie defintely looks a possible and then JJ, Nathan and Mario at a push.

yes they are lovin her and the accent/catchphrase but that accent will grate like hell after a while for us southerners...but we have had her shoved down our throats for 3 days..she's left an imprint Grin
im sure if josie gets simular airtime soon, she also will be everybodys favourite.
corin is so nice though its a rare treat Love

jj handling ben quite well now and speaks a lot of sense at times i dont think we've seen the last of him...its getting quite interesting.
govan on a major guilt trip ( good )
steve may walk yet, i just see him getting up 1 morning and leaving...not sure why he's just seems the sought that would.

When Corin told JJ to butt out it was because she was involved in the conversation and she thought he was having a go at her. She wasn't standing up for Rachael, as when JJ later said to her he wasn't aiming the comments at her, she she forgave him straight away. So I don't think she was being a knight in shining armour.

3-3.5 does not seem a fair price to me.corin is the best of a bad bunch in this series imo.i have a good green on her. bought at levels between 18s and 10s and layed at 5s. at 3-3.5 i would be a definate layer, still almost 3mths of series left, a cheap level to lay imo and build a nice green on "any other" which should/could be major runner in this series.

tbh if we all sit here and watch corin be nice for another 10weeks..alright we all might make a few quid but we'll also turn into mad men and our communitys could be in danger.
just to say sane she's a lay and hope we see some nasty side to her, coz at the moment she is a stepford wife.

She reminded me very much of Sophie during the night

I know you don't think they pick the winners, but when in BB did two 'same-type' winners ever win consecutively? Or even across the winners for that matter?!

Josie has more in common with Sophie imo, so are we writing her off too?
All the winners are the 'same type', in that they all share similar qualities.
They're generally upbeat outgoing but laid back personalities.
They don't b1tch much. Don't try too hard. Don't get involved in trying to play the 'game' or formimg groups.
They're not people who search out conflict, but are willing to speak up if conflict comes looking for them.

Corin and Josie are the only two that tick all the boxes for me.

Josie =
a mixture of Kate
(gets on with the lads but in a non-threatening way so gets on with the girls too, up for a laugh, doesn't take things or herself too seriously)

and Helen
(country-bumpkin accent and ways, talks all sort of cr@p but funny with it, very naive in the ways of the world outside of what she has grown up with, not street wise but not bothered about it).

At this stage last year Sophie was stuck to Kris like sh!t to a blanket, joining in Lisa, Kris et al's b!tching and being pretty mean to Freddie along with them.

I agree (sadly) that it could be a parital negative for Josie - I know what you mean that others also have similar qualities, but the 'bubbly, nice but northern and a little dim female' that was Sophie last year is easily closest to Corin this year - Josie isn't northern so she has the 'country bumpkin' more to her. The above is for Josie, not Corin.  Corin isn't a country bumpkin.

Sophie was the baby of the house tho, whereas Corin is pretty much the mother figure in there.  The type who could be a dinner lady, although a bit skinny for that.  Reminds me of our cleaner actually.

I didn't even realise Sophie was northern Blush

She didn't have a strong regional accent like Corin and Josie.

Keep meaning to lay her and take the profit but I just cant do it and Ive now backed her as low as 4.3. Perhaps thats not so insane though in a market where people are willing to back Ben this morning at 24. Thank you for the free money.

I dont think theres been a more positive scene for a HM than Corins talk with Govan on the Monday night HL show. It wasnt just the hugs and the empathy but that she actually listened rather than just try to make herself look good with pithy soundbites.

A long way to go but Im struggling to find any negatives which are not superficial and will be irrelevant in a few weeks.

my problem with corin is 3/1 is very short for a long competition where we have been promised more twists than any other year.
if she is still looking a fav to win in 5 weeks from now i doubt the price will be any shorter, so why tie up money when there is not much up side.

I take your point mach, but if I laid off, where would I put my money
6 on Steve hardly appeals.
Josie has shown she can be a moody cow, so there doesn't seem much upside in her price and I have her green anyway.
JJ a possible if he can control his temper and maybe even have a Journey, but I have him green now too.
Nathan I've been laying. Too coarse and crude and bland to win.
Mario - too wet.
The rest look like also rans.

So I'd rather keep my green where it is and add a little from time to time.
The nicest most thoughtful HM and entertaining too.
