Seems to be personable, nice, genuine, caring, ditzy but at the same time down to earth and sensible with more than a hint of vulnerability. Perhaps a composite of BB9 Lisa and CBB4 Chantelle. Ive a nice position on her already but Ive left a bit more up untill the morning if anyone disagrees.

yeah right, she looks like those yuo see on the cover of these chav gossip mags like Closer and Now. I bet her lifetime ambition is to be in them too.

Never trust anyone with drawn on eyebrows.

I'm aboard and she's my biggest green now.
There's not much to add to your excellent summary simper.
She ticks plenty of boxes.
My one worry is that although all the HM's appear to like her, she has no strong allies and could become an easy target for nomination.
Although I guess not being part of one of the groups, could mean she sneaks under the radar while the 2 groups pick each other off.

The 2 groups as I see them-

Rachael (queen bee), Shabby, Caoimhe, Ife and Govan.

John (king pin), Ben, Josie, Dave, Mario and Sunshine.

Floaters - Corin, Nathan and Steve.

A major clash between Rachael and John not far off, so probably better to keep your head down at this stage.

Has a king or queen ever won any version of BB (celeb/public)?

John 3rd fav and if BB true to its word mario could go soon meaning plenty of value out there somewhere.

As I went on to say, cj, the big egos will take themselves out 1st.
Corin is easy to live with and will be well down most HM's lists

It would be a problem in a house where everyone got on, but in a house where there are tensions buliding, the likes of Rachael, John, Shabby, Ben, Govan, Dave and Sunshine, will be in various HM's firing line.

gl with her FLL. I honestly think she's got v little in common with anyone and isn't humourous. Even if she avoided the nominations I would have no idea who would vote for her?

Completly disagree with this. The 'nice' middle housemates never get nominated. Groups do not think like that. They dont 'pick off' the nice ones, if anything they pick off the other group.

As for Corin, you might well be onto something.

Yep, my worry was really before the 2 groups had formed.
If they'd all got on fairly well, which looked possible in the first few days, then Corin would have been seen as an easy target.
Now she's as safe as houses for weeks as the 2 groups fight it out.

The problem she has is that she seems to like defending those that aren't there when someone they just want a good b1tch (ie someone to nod and agree with everything they're saying). For instance, she rubbed up Govan the wrong way the other day when she mentioned a few home truths to him.

A vote winner with the public, but this could make her seem like the opposition to both teams when things get nasty, so could pull in a fair few nominations and find herself isolated simply by being too diplomatic.

Popularity of the women has always been difficult and somewhat unpredictable when pit against men. Could find it difficult in a head to head eviction with a male.

ghatroonh, theres very little chance of Corin being up for eviction under normal rules for at least the next 6 weeks or so. She is both the Mum and the fun of the house so only an eviction twist will see her face the public vote.

Ironically I think her biggest negative is her relentless positivity which left the twins without much coverage in the first half of BB8 and eventually saw them beat by a "journey" winner. Corin is a bit more willing to get involved in house disputes though and the only journey candidate I can see is JJ and he seems to be another Darnell, just too insecure.

My biggest negative for her would be - do they really want another dizzy (but nice) bird winning? They did that last year.

Also counts against Josie sadly (as a Josie backer)

I've longed believed they don't really care who wins, but I guess it's a small negative.

I just think everyone gets a task where they are the 'star' and when Corin gets her she's a 3.5 shot.

btw, excellent spot on JJ, simper.
He is very similar Darnell (the early fave that year too) full of insecurities and paranoia and constantly analysing the game.
His 'thing' with Racahel is only the start, I suspect.

Agree about the positivity.  Everyone is allowed to be a bit of a grump in the morning.  The jolliness and that fkin singing (like 'ilda Ogden) was doing my nut in this morning.

Biggest negative for me is that a Corin win would mean three female winners on the bounce. Can't see it.
By:
five leaves left
When: 16 Jun 10 12:38
Not much of a negative imo

It would still mean 6 male winners, 4 female and one in between.

People were saying the same about Lee in AI. Too much like the previous 2 winners.

All TPTB want is a show that people watch. T
They give very little thought to who wins.

Corin is in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother about her official BB photograph. "My face looks like it's been ironed", she says, adding, "I can imagine that picture in a sun bed shop saying beware".

She must be stupid, modelling herself after one of the most hated woman in the country, ie Katie Price, is sure a vote winner in a popularity contest. She might have well model herself after Hitler.

Also, can anyone understand a fking word she is saying??? Did she ever went to school??? She has the vocabuary of a mosquito, like like like like like every other second.

Another chav housing estate type.

Was my first bet, on the 11th. Positive, supportive, fun.

As far as I can tell she's a diamond personality and hasn't put a foot wrong since.

She seems to have the fantastic ability to recognise conflict and breeze straight through it to comfort and cheer up the wounded parties

I'd expect her to stand a very good chance in the final.

With regards to who they want to win I agree with five leaves left that its quite low down on BBs list of priorities. Obviously it was essential that Shilpa won and they really wanted a Brian Belo win but those were exceptional circumstances and I think their desire for a "war hero" win is nothing compared to their desire for the highest viewing figures possible. That will decide the future of the franchise in the UK.

It may be glossed over in tomorrows HLs but Im surprised that the market has not reacted to Corin seeming to be the only HM to challenge JJ after his dinner table rant.
