I just cant Wait to see Bootsma and Lucus running around for West Coast.
The thing is Bootsma if Trained up could be a nice pick up. He just like a normal kid and had a bit of fun with his phone |
By:
No chance Lloydy Eagles need someone like him like they need an extra hole in the head, struggled to get a WAFL club to take him on. Most normal kids aren't repeatedly and specifically lectured by there employer on what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour and then be dumb enough to do something as stupid as that. He's a real prince.

Best thing you could have ever done was let that waste of space Waite and the skill less Robinson go. How did you cope with your man Brock being re-signed???
By:
Nothing wrong with Waite but it was in his best Interest.
I hope he does well. Mclean is a Waist of having somebody on your list Cant kick, Cant read play, Cant tackle just cant understand it, all he can do is say stupid things on Twitter. Robinson at least he has a Crack, he will be picked up. At all Cost Must get Jakch from GWS id give them Jamo and Walker for him No Picks we need all the Youth possible. Your Man Cashbolt has to Step up next year. |
By:
Thought his (casbolt's)second half of the season was very good Lloydy
By:
2 good games only List clogger
By:
Well like it or not he's your main man now, don't think he'll let you down though. How about the cats they couldn't get Christensen out the door fast enough for a player of his age and talent the off field stuff must be very significant. You don't just throw a player of his quality away just like that otherwise.

they got rid of the bulldogs coach coz of that **** on his nose...can't have the spokesperson for your club with some crustacean on his hooter

GWS Gone,
Cant Keep Kids. All the best picks in last 3 years and Big Forward may never play again. Can keep giving them Kids but they will continue to leave In a shocking area. At least Gold Coast have something for them. Will be laughable at in years to come. I was predicting GF for them but not now. This year has turned so many off AFL with Ess, Dead games and Big Crowd pulling teams all gone. Need to Change to APL Australian Premier League Top 3 Teams just Buy best players other teams just Develop them. Dogs run by Murphy and Johnston Joke of a Club. Coach tried to do what Pagen did to Carl and they didnt like it. Just look at Lake now to when he left Dogs. He was good at Dogs but not Disaplened, went to HAwks was told would not get a game unless Fit, Shows the Culture at Dogs. Its a Boys Club and now West wants to Coach them. They need Rocket back to put a Rocket up them |

In fairness Lloydy, the AFL hasn't been great for a while now. Making it up as they go. No consistency with tribunal. Who knows what with Essendon. Sydney have the COLA, get 2 big players, lose the COLA and can't trade now for no reason. Melbourne lose Frawley and get pick 3. Dogs lose Higins and get pick 26 was it? How is that calculated? Selwood aside, who knows whats a free kick and what isn't. Carlton suck. No one wanted GWS. Priddis wins brownlow. Rape scandals. Illicit drug scandals. Meatloaf. Priddis wins brownlow.
One good thing this year, there seems to be a shift back to attacking play. Hawks, Power, Roos all great to watch. All made the last 4, hopefully thers will follow. |
By:
Rhino stick your Priddis winning the brownlow up yours arrse sideways mate it was thoroughly deserved.
By:
OK Lets. He is a nice bloke and very humble. Prob a lock for Australian of the year and maybe we should give him the Nobel prize as well fo being a good bloke.
Telling people to shove other humans up their arse is not polite Lets. |

By:
Boyd to Carlton in a Swap for Mclean
By:
Seems reasonable to me.
By:
now that's funny lloydy
By:
Sorry rhino but neither is your implications that Priddis wasn't a deserving winner
By:
the way trades are going it might just happen
Keep giving GWS picks they will just keep coming home |
By:
They will just keep coming home until the AFL re-brand the COLA, give GWS twic the salary cap of others and they become a 10 year dynasty. NAILED ON.
Speaking of GWS, whatever happened to Scully? Never hear of him anymore. Is he still alive? |
By:
*twice the salary...

lloydy must be doing hand stands or maybe he's had some influence as carlton after declarig they would offer mclean a new one year contract now appear unlikely to do so.
By:
Word on the street is they are going to offer him a 9 year contract.

Lets i told you half way through season Jaksh was coming to Carlton. (Josh Kennedy Style Player)
He still needs 2 years to develop into a Josh Kennedy player Big Steal i believe only losing 12 spots in a so called weak draft after Pick 4 We even got a Bonus player thrown in Whiley. (I dont know much about but its Youth) If they had of signed Mclean and Cooney i was out. Dogs was a Savour today for them, Had to be done. Big signing of Boyd really for Pick number 5 as Griffing was out the Door and possibly on last legs, hasnt set the world on fire last 2 years. Also GWS have taken 2 Captains from Dogs. Dogs potentially have the best up and coming list. Just need to get some more Qualty players and they will be playing finals 2-3 years. Boyd is going to sign Members up and they need. Really happy for the Dogs today they havent had a decent forward since Beasley. Just hope they realise he will not Dominate till 2-3 years. Brisbane have done well after losing so many players last year. GWS are the biggest losers they cant get players just Draft picks, keep giving them picks and watch every year they will just want to leave. North having a Big crack for Premership but are they good enough or are they doing what Bris did a few years ago. Rich What have they done? Average list and no Improvements. Geelong topping up list and 1 is a Huge Risk, No loss on the players they lost Pies after losing Beams rebuilding so they mind as well join Carlton |
By:
6.6 mil for 7 years. Not bad for a kid who has played a handful of games.
And Lloydy, Chris Grant called, he's spitting chips about the no decent forward since Beasley comment. |
By:
Apparently the eagles don't need to improve their list, one more decent midfielder and a livewire small forward and they're in contention, I've got no farking idea what they're doing anymore other than playing with themselves.
Don't get me wrong I like young maginness who's yet to play and sheed showed something in the second half of the year and Yeo & McGovern are going to be stars but they needed to bring in a stenglein (2004) or chick (2003) quality player like they did previously for mine. Obviously they value Sinclair as I do but to not even try to improve your draft position a bit was criminally negligent as far as I'm concerned. The soon the disease that is Nisbett is shown the door the better but he's staying to oversee the stadium deal unfortunately. Karl Langdon is of the same view that Nisbett must go. |

Rhino,
Maybe i should of said Full Forward. They had to Pull the trigger or Gone. Needed to land a Big Fish, have paid overs but May be worth it Hey im a Big Soft spot for Dog, I was tought how to play football by Kelvin Templeton, he lived at my Grand Parents for about 5-7 years. Honest story i took his Medal to School. He used to keep it in his Sock draw My Grand Father was Life member and Had a lot to do with the Club. I was always a Blue as followed my Mum. I used to even wear Carlton Jumper in Dogs rooms as i went to every game, but would never change. Loved Whitten Oval |
By:
All good Lloydy. It's a gamble but I agree a good one. You can build great teams around superstar forwards and he may indeed grow into one. For the superstitious Dogs fans, Boyd was born on the day of Ted Whittens funeral. Not sure if thats a good omen or a bad one...
By:
Good to see the Beams deal got done, everyone got little wins out of that - Pies did surprisingly well
Boyd Griffin deal is a win win as well I think - Pickers has done a great deal for his client Boyd, massive money for someone that has only played 9 games - a gamble but worth the risk imo Last day today, any surprises to come??? |
By:
go the LIONS!
By:
they done well - loss losing Patfull but getting Beams and Christensen are HUGE pluses
exciting times coming up for your boys Secong |
