Hawks very comfortably in a nothing game.

The improving dogs to upset the blues if the dogs reproduce the same effort and intensity they came with against the swans last week. The blues are soft, selfish and some are way too arrogant, if they turn up thinking they can just beat the dogs they will be sadly mistaken.

The lions to give the tigers a  fright and if the tigers are off their game they can beat them.

Last week I was saying the Eagles were no chance and they need to play a lot better than they did against the suns but the bombers were very average against the pies.

Probably the worst thing that could have happened for the eagles was the bombers getting thrashed but I have no doubt that with the likely return of Le Cras, Priddis and possibly Masten that the eagles will be up for this game.

I can't believe I'm saying this but the Eagles are a big chance of causing the upset here particularly if they can provide Kennedy and Darling with some quality delivery into the forward line, they need to get the ball into Wellingham's hands as much as possible when going forward as he is starting to really run into some touch now and his delivery into the forward line last week was first class. Gaff is starting to cope with a tag much better now and has been much better over the past month.

You take too much notice of what others say on here.  If they don't affect your wallet, don't let them affect your headspace.  And if they do affect your headspace, there is every chance that will affect your wallet.  Wink

Layed the crows at 3/4 time so the result for me if north or the crows win is now about the same because of the earlier double I took with the eagles into the crows but not as good as the double would have been but still it's a guaranteed result. I don't trust the crows from here, think crows can probably still sneak over the line but they made the mistake of letting north back in the match and it was the crows turnovers that north was continually dining out on in the 3rd quarter

north all over the crows now winning most of the 50/50's if they get the next goal here its going to make it hard for the crows even at this early stage of the fourth quarter and despite the fact that north are currently only up by 2 points.

I was tempted to unload on GWS with a 103.5 point start today as thought that was as safe as fort knox against the dockers but I don't bet that way I was also going to add that to the final leg in my double to make it a treble but I never bothered am not complaining though as the footy's been very good to me again this week.

this is why I virtually never bet on margins starts on bad teams. If I had unloaded on the 103.5 start the giants I would be sweating bullets now.

Just did the ladder predictor if the eagles only win one of their last three that being against the crows at subi they should finish 9th and will pointlessly play a final, Yay not.
I think they can play well but no good enough against the cats at subi next week again play ok against the pies at the G but ultimately lose and if the pies fix up the hawks next weekend I  have the cats or the swans finishing on top as don't think the hawks will the swans in Sydney even though it's at ANZ in the final round.

Please ,you insisted last year hawks were over the line and were proven wrong I consistently backed in the swans and was proven correct, the only term debate you've been right about is in your own mind but by all means keep trying you might get it right one day.

How did norths game plan and top young players hold up against Adelaide today, not too well. It took an unbelievable effort by wells in the third quarter to drag north back into the match.

Seeing you want to be smart arrse yet again, I think I will repost your comments about this round in comparison to mine sunshine.

Pies traditionally have gone well against the Swans at ANZ until the final last year and can't see the swans bringing anything less than their best for this very important game against a resurgent Collingwood, Swans to prove a bit classy in what should be a very good game.

Crows at home are further strengthened by getting Sloane back and in a close one can beat north especially if it's greasy and wet.
Let's see if North are prepared to get down and dirty away from the dome.
They were terrific last week and if they play with the same intensity they will win but I still have question marks over them away from the dome and particularly if the conditions aren't great.

Suns will smash the woeful demons who have nothing to play for.

Dockers to win comfortably against the giants.

Expect the Cats to come out snarling after dropping that game last week and against a gallant Port I expect them to be way too good and it could even end up being nasty for Port as I don't think the cats will be in any mood to take prisoners after last week.

Will almost certainly be on the dogs, suns, lions and eagles and cats in some form of double or trebles combinations but the value for the round is the dogs, eagles and the lions.

I can't see the Bulldogs beating Carlton, with the Blues knowing everything is on the line. They will be too good and I don't think there is much to be excited about on that Bulldogs list.LaughLaughLaugh

Bombers will beat the Eagles. Yes they may have hit the wall but the Eagles are rubbish and will get smashed for leg speed. Bombers will bounce back and win easily.LaughLaughLaughLaugh

Would think North are too good for the Crows but they still need to produce on the road. Still think they have too much talent there for Adelaide to quite go with them.LaughLaughLaughLaughLaugh

The other game of interest is Brisbane/Richmond. I give Brisbane a genuine chance. They have been consistently good the last two months and Richmond might be a bit comfortable with everything coming into this. Their biggest win of the year last week and everyone is telling them they are millionaires. Expect this to be close.

No surprises in the rest.

Good luck all
