why would you advertise another laying site on betfair forum ? , i t just goes to show how much legends betfair are for not deleting it , one of the most honourbale companies in the world imo.

Why would they? People that are getting banned for turnover tax are now able to pump out commission to them and make them money rather than lose it.
Not to mention bumping up your charges so you don't pay PC. And no it isn't PC avoidance by being dodgy, it is avoiding it the same way as everybody else, by making BF enough money so they don't charge you for it. They aren't a huge threat, if any to BF as BF still have the superior product, but certainly customers they are losing to the huge charges now have a way to stay, keep betting, and making BF more money. |

I did the trial, walked away with $270 at the end of it
I won't be going any further however, the layout of the website sucks, you have to confirm the bet 2 times after you actually submit the bet, you don't actually know what odds you got until the end of the race I can't see how it's too much better then betfair, other then the reduced commission rate |

The big plus for me with the site, is that I work on markets where it's not always possible to lay the horses, I don't fancy, on Betfair.
Often, I can lay horses at shorter odds, than what I have to give on Betfair. |

I am dubious about the site for aforementioned reasons and just because it is different to you, you have to shoot off and abuse. Champion you are. I feel that there are several dubious elements that would stop me opening an account as mentioned, and am more than allowed to express those concerns. Things do not add up about the joint, its location, business model. BTW please feel free logroller to explain their business model and how it works and will be viable in the long term. I am all ears. |

To avoid the Turnover and Product Fees I'd set up shop in Vanuatu too. Put me in the mug category - $3k deposit made and had a barrel of fun laying with the free bets. Yeah I know it's a BetSqueasy clone....

Progress report week two.
I worked on 3 trotting meeting in SA, laying well over 30 horses. All my bets were confirmed immediately. The only problem I encountered was with laying multiple horses in the same race. When I clicked to lay the next horse it automatically went to the default postition for a win bet. Luckily the two times it happened, I noticed before I confirmed the bet. A mate fell into the trap of backing a dog for $300, that he had wanted to lay. Showed a profit of $745 for the week. Total profit after 2 weeks stands at $805. |

i work nearly every day VIC /TROTS laying the according to my markets
only lay the horses i think that have no possible ch started 12 days a go winning $3415 + dont let it interfere with my normal punting i keep this as just trying to pinch wages i put up 24 lays on another thread on sat night no winners race 1 cranbourne trots today LAYING 4.5.7 FOR 2K WHICH IS THE MAXIUM |

Thats exactly what I do, Elsu, except $1k is the maximum I'm allowed to lay on SA trots.
I'm predicting that in a few weeks they will probably pull the plug on the laying part of the website. |

it's ok while they loose,but 2 in a row and you
have to lay a lot of losers to get it back. and what about the day 5 or 6 out of 20 win !! or worse 15 out of 50? or 30 out of 100? don't think it can't or doesn't happen IT DOES !!!!! |

Of course you lay the occasional winner, but if you lay horses at under their true odds, you will be a big winner in the longterm.
In other words, if your market is accurate, you have to win. |

i think its because you do not lay at tote odds
some sort of formula to include the totes 20% ish take out. then commission of 3% i think totes uni $12...nsw $13.2... vic $15 so you lay something at worst tote $15 15 x 1.20 x 3% = 18.5 |

Their formulas mean the markets are under 100%. So the markets are in their favour. Sure they use tote prices to come up with their price, but people in here suggesting you are laying at tote odds are just being ridiculous.

there is more information on the shell of a chocolate M&M than is on their site about fees T&Cs etc. The layout is fkd, times don't advance, when you refresh you have to log back in, no real info on how your lays are calculated or what they are based on?? I'll mess around with the few hunge they gave me and see if I can work it our???

Lay prices are: Home state odds 10.00 layPrice = (highestToteOdds – 1)*1.4067 + 1. For a bunch of self confessed geniuses and betting gods, some of you really show no initiative at all. |
