They have to win 2 games, one of them most likely against Geelong or Sydney, followed by a GF against probably Adelaide or Collingwood (that assumes a lot, but just for the exercise)
1.50 to beat Geelong or Sydney and 1.35 against Adelaide or Collingwood prices them at 2.00. Current GF pricing is pretty much bang on. |

You can get nearly 20/1 Sydney -39.5 v Adelaide via the overrounds. Now that is better value than 1.95 Hawks for the flag IMO.

what is the value may i ask of backing a 20/1 loser
![]() |

Todays game should be earn the winner the right to finish second in 2012. The winner gets the soft side of the draw and loser is dead in the water drawing the Geelong/Hawthorn side.
Expect Sydney to win, I am amazed Adelaide are clear favs, does anyone do football form or is it just follow the leader? Since Collingwood tore them up with half a side mid season, they have lost to North, Geelong and Brisbane, and won by less than a kick over Saints and Essendon (who were a joke at the time) at home. Form has definately tapered off, they simply don't beat good teams |

Sydney--over 15.5 points...

They are just not in the same class Adelaide. Awesome defensive performance by Sydney this, Adelaide not smart enough going forward
By:
Loggy,
I got on at 20/1 and now they are probably 4/1. You were asking what the value of a 20/1 loser was. I just sold the over at 1 qtr of the price I got it for. The value? A new mountain bike for yours truly ![]() |

Adelaide will be gone in straight sets now which I thought was fairly predictable. Sydney really should play in a Grand Final as posted earlier because they find the soft side of the draw which they have deserved to get now, and importantly should get their prelim at the SCG because their is a rugby match booked for ANZ stadium that weekend.
By:
Sydney got out to 2.50 in pre match betting. Unbelievable price.
By:
Like I said pre match CS, just puppets who assume the home side will win and don't really assess where teams are at.

jenny talia...out for season

Cheer cheer the red and the white
![]() Hope Benny isn't hurt too bad but looks like he knows it's season ending ![]() Finals style football 3 of the 4 weeks leading in made all the difference - week off will be very handy now. SCG would be great but ANZ will do - looking forward to watching the Pies and West Coast whack each other next weekend ![]() |

What price Geelong in Adelaide nedt week? 1.65 Cats?
By:
depends how easily they get through tonight and if the cop any injuries, hopefully they don't
By:
They have to beat Freo yet. Freo good early.
By:
cats still favs 24 behind ??
By:
free finally gone fav 32 ahead lol
By:
Interesting. Brings the Crows right back into the premiership market to I would have thought.
By:
who will the cats blame?? lol
crowd? umpires?? Hawks even shorter now |
By:
Dockers doing it easy so far, long way to go but i'd love to see them keep this up

Freo is a very good side. This is no accident. The Cats don't have anyone to blame. They just aren't good enough right now.
Time to reset. They need to at least break even for the second term. |
By:
massacre
By:
Long way to go, but Freo so much harder at the ball!
By:
Commentators claiming will be their greatest ever victory from here, odds suggesting they do it 1/5... Hmmmm
By:
Here they come...
By:
Freo are a serious side. Is there any chance a certain 'expert' forumite can get anything right?
By:
Very serious, crows without Jenny gonna have there hands full beating them next week imo
By:
Freo should be favs in my opinion, there form is infinity better over the last 10 weeks, but the sheep will make Crows fav.
Swans fans not happy, AFL have just announced they will reprogramme their prelim around the rugby to make sure it is played at ANZ Stadium. Pies will like that if they can win next week |
By:
**infinitely
By:
Have kept chasing the cats in the run throughout this game and loaded up again at halftime, does anyone else still believe????
By:
What a footballer Pav is
By:
They have some gun players Freo, and Lyon has them believing.
By:
They should start faves next week..in some form..
By:
There were some saying the Eagles would have handled them easily
Would have simply been a case of how far FreoThis is a big statement |
By:
If Pav played his career for a Melbourne club he would be talked about the way James Hird is talked about. Absolute champion. This is a stunning result, they are faster, stronger and more skilful than the Cats. A gun coach, Goddard on the way, this is the arrival of Fremantle. The AFL's next powerhouse.
By:
Curious how you think they play the last qtr, lock it down completely, or still try and score? Could be anything from 25 points to 75 in this last term!
By:
Agree with what you say about Pav Rhino
And agree with what you say about Freo. Quite possibly 2013 premiership favs as we speak |
By:
A very tough task for the cats when they cut it to 20 and 21 points a couple of times freo would have folded inthe past , a great effort by them win, lose, or draw, all I can say is where was this level of effort against the crows a few weeks ago.
Don't worry if anyone can find a a way to stuff up what should be a bright future for a club it is the dockers they excell at farking up opportunities. |
By:
Amazing scenes..gonna be a hard town to live in if they succeed, there supporters are feral, but the players have a belief,u can see it..
