typical umpires, watson isn't fit to tie abletts shoes. Looks hard from here now. The only thing I did wrong was not lay cotchin I should have layed him as well as knew delrdio and co would pinch plenty of votes off him. Well done if you backed watson you've committed highway robbery because no way did he have a better season than ablett but well done anyway.

yep, he looked hopeless when in his first year. He has really worked hard on most aspects of his game.... kicking was atrocious, fitness wasn't up to par, reactions were pedestrian etc. etc....... very very well done jobe !!!

My best mate's an Essendon supporter so seen quite a bit of Jobe this year. I don't think you guys are giving him due credit.
Not as good as Gazza, but a deserving winner nonetheless. |

Not at all nick I just hate to see the wrong player win, Ablett wins the vote from his peers by a street yet the unmpiure can't see he's had a vastly superior season to Watson a very good player but one who isn't in the same postcode as far as ability when compared to Ablett.

Jobe benefits from playing in a team with no stand out players. Had a great year, but not the best player.
