Hi,

Just a quick post for anyone checking my blog today looking for a tip.  After looking at the quality on offer today, Champions League aside, it's a very poor day of football, so one to swerve in my opinion.

I'll be checking each day this week and will post as soon as I spot some value.

Just to remind everyone, we will be starting free blog post horse racing selections soon.  We are just deciding which tips are going to run best on the blog, and which ones should be a subscription service on our site.  So please be patient as we are aiming to get it right first time, there should be some really exciting times ahead!

Good luck today whatever you're trading or punting!

16 Wins In A Row!

03 Apr 11 12:13
Hi,

Yes indeed that makes it 16 winning football tips in a row, and we hope to continue the run!

New York v Houston proved profitable for everyone who followed my tip yesterday and layed Houston.  It dipped below 6’s quite a few times throughout the day, as I posted it very early for this reason. I hope you all got matched on this okay.  It wasn’t a goal fest, but New York definitely looked in control for most of the game, and brought home the bacon with a 1-1 draw!

My members enjoyed a great win also!  I've sent another couple of selections out today for my members, but I'm pretty confident I should have some more free tips in the week for the blog, now our featured leagues are back in action again.

We've also got some free horse racing selections, which should be on the way either mid to end of April.  So keep checking the blog, or you could write me a personal message and I'll tell you how to stay updated when we post our latest tips!

Have a great day whatever you're trading or punting!

Hi Everyone,

An early post for this tip as the liquidity is very poor in the market at the moment, so I recommend getting your bet in the queue early.

New York Red Bulls vs Houston Dynamo

USA Major League Soccer

Kick Off:  12.30am GMT(Sunday)

Lay Houston Dynamo for 5.6, 6's maximum before kick off.  This is not going in play, so it's a straight bet only.

Analysis:

This week New York have their internationals coming back, and they're good at the back with good passing going forward. So it will be a difficult match for Houston.

The New York Red Bulls should nearly be back to full strength, and maybe even stronger than they originally expected.  Newly acquired Dwayne De Rosario could make his New York debut Saturday night, in a home game against the Houston Dynamo, the team he helped win two MLS Cup championships.

"They've got two world-class speed guys up front", defender Bobby Boswell told the Dynamo's official website. "They've got Henry, who likes to pull out wide, and Agudelo who's in great form".

Henry had two assists in the most recent meeting with Houston, a 2-2 draw July 31. The Red Bulls defeated the Dynamo 2-1 on June 2 in their other match last season.

The Red Bulls are 4-2-4 all-time against the Dynamo, including a 3-0-2 record in New York.

With the season still very early, New York's home record reads W3D1L1, scoring 5 conceding 3.  While Houston's away record reads W2D2L2, scoring 9 but conceding 10.  I predict the quality players for New York should do the business in this one, and would be surprised to see anything else but a Win or Draw for the Red Bulls!

As we can't trade off this one, adjust your stake and liability accordingly, but it looks like a confident punt to me!

Good luck!

28th March Update!

28 Mar 11 11:41
Hi Everyone,

I hope you’re really well.

After a storming start to the year, we are now in a terrible schedule for football, with Euro Qualifiers and European games!  Unfortunately we can’t do anything about the fixture list, but we will be selecting MLS games very shortly.

I’ll be in touch in the week, because if you look at the next couple of days football schedule, you will see there is little I can do with what’s on offer right now!

We will be back with a vengeance in April!

Good luck whatever you're trading or punting in the meantime!

25th March Update

25 Mar 11 13:40
Hi,

Just a quick note from me today because there is a no action at all in our specialist leagues midweek. This may be a good time though to recharge the batteries, as from what I’ve seen of the international fixtures, there is very little value.  Unless you go for an underdog as an outside punt, which we tend to avoid!

It’s just been a funny couple of weeks of football!

From the 1st April we should be launching our Daily Drifter horse trading tips on our Betfair blog.  I've put the rules of trading this up on my website already, and will copy them on here nearer the time next week.  I'm making a profit from it everyday at the moment, but with the launch of the products on my site my time is too limited.  The start of next month I'll be back in business and able to post it everyday between 10am and 12pm, giving you enough time to get on the drift!

Have a great weekend, and good luck if you're trading those tricky international matches!

Hi,

Well you don't need me to tell how dismal this weeks football is, with only the Euro qualifiers on Friday to go at as far as I can see.  These are tricky affairs, but I'm looking for some opportunities and value.  If I find anything worth tipping I'll post either Thursday or Friday!

We are launching a new ABC Ratings horse racing system this week which is really exciting, so possibly from this week or next I will be posting a Lay of The Day free horse racing selection on my blog going forward.  Provided by our resident horse racing expert.  So during these low liquidity baron spells in between Euro and International football games, we will still have some free horse racing tips for you to bet or trade daily.

These have been running successfully for us, with a similar strike rate to the football tips if you were to just punt them.  So exciting times ahead for our followers, just not so much this week! :o)

Check back again later this week, or register for the free SMS updates to keep you in the loop when I Betfair blog post!

Cheers

15 Wins in a Row!

20 Mar 11 17:22
Hi,

Well a nice easy win for us today, with great value odds.  I couldn't believe Schalke's odds were so low considering the trouble they are having, combined with Bayer Leverkusen's great home record.

Predicted:

Lay Schalke @4.8's and trade off when Bayer Leverkusen go ahead or it drifts out for enough profit on the draw!

Final score:

Bayer Leverkusen v Schalke 2-0, layed at 4.8, backed at 15 for a nice green up.  WIN!

I hope some of you got on, as I know not many people checked out my blog today.  I only post when I'm confident, so keep an eye out each day, or register on Twitter as I always Tweet when I've posted on here.  There is even a free SMS service on Twitter which you can personalize to just receive texts when I Tweet new tips, so you should never miss my Betfair blog free tips or my member selections!

If you go to my website there is a neat little video showing you how to set up the SMS service on Twitter so you never miss another tip, best of all it's FREE!

15 out of 15 WINS so far, so get in the loop!

Cheers

Hi,

I just got matched at 15, at 1-0 so I suggest trading off Schalke now for a nice profit!

Thanks

Hi All,

I'll keep this a brief analysis as the game starts soon and I want you all to get matched okay.  I've sent a selection to my members also, so check your email if you're registered!

Today's selection:

German Bundesliga

Bayer Leverkusen v Schalke

Lay Schalke @4.8, try to get under 5's, no higher than 6's though.  Trade off if either Bayer Leverkusen go ahead at any stage, or Schalke's back price drifts out enough to hedge off for 60% original profit or more.  For example, if it remains a draw at around 50 to 70 mins onwards, the price will really move out rapidly.  Check what price is available if it’s a draw at this stage, and assess for yourself of course, but I’ll post to my blog if I trade off.

Kick off 2.30pm GMT

Analysis:

The reason I like this game so much is that Schalke have current managerial problems, I'm not sure they actually have a manager at the time of writing this, as Felix Magath has been sacked and now moved to Wolfsburg on Friday.  Which is a team he used to coach.  Schalke are a side with internal difficulties and they don't travel well anyway.  They sit 10th in the Bundesliga, with an away record reading, W3D3L6, scoring 9 and conceding 17.  With only two away games scoring two or more goals.

Whereas Leverkusen are 2nd, and 18 out of their 26 games have scored 2 or more goals!  So for a leaky defence like Schalke's this will be a busy day.  The home form reads, W6D4L3, scoring 26 and conceding 21, but 9 out of 13 games scoring 2 or more home goals.  They are 5 games without a loss and 4 games since a home draw.  So they are strong at home and sitting in a good position in the Bundesliga.  I think they should be too much for a Schalke side not good on the road and rebuilding as a team.  Leverkusen to Win or Draw this one, or to go ahead at some point for us to trade off!

Good luck!

Stand At Ease!

16 Mar 11 13:31
Hi Everyone,

I'm swerving today's football as it's typical unpredictable Champions League action!  To be fair both games look to be decided before the off, so I may have a play in the correct score market, but the value in the Match Odds market is just not there for the way we trade.

Check back again tomorrow or Friday, as I may have something in the Europa League, but I will definitely have a selection for the weekend!

Good luck whatever you're trading or punting today!
