Lay Doncaster @5.2's

16 Apr 11 11:15
Hi,

What a glorious day for Football and Horse Racing, so let's hope we see some great action and profitable winners!

If we get this win it will put us on 20 consecutive wins for our Betfair blog, so I've got everything crossed I've got this spot on today!

Today's Selection:

Hull v Doncaster

Lay Doncaster away to Hull City @5.2s, never take more than 6.  Usual rules apply, trade off if Hull go ahead, or the game drifts on past 60 -70 mins at a 0-0 draw, or when the profit becomes appealing for an easy trade off.

I'll post on the blog when I trade off, so if you have our free SMS alerts set up, you will get a text.

English Football The Championship

Kick off: 3pm GMT

Analysis

Hull City play host to Doncaster Rovers at The KC Stadium, looking to continue an impressive record. The The Tigers are clearly on top, having won 14 and lost only 5 of the 23 games.

The last time the two teams met at Hull City was back in December 2004, over five years ago, the The Tigers carving out a narrow 2-1 victory in a League One match.

Hull City's poor home run has seen them win just 1 and draw 2 of the last six. While The Tigers have scored 4, a worringly large 7 have been leaked at the other end.

Hull City still have ambitions of making the play off's though, and they are in the form to do so. Hull currently sit 10th in the league but just 4 points off the playoffs. Their home record reads W6D7L7, scoring scoring 15 and conceding 13, but they are hard team to beat!

Doncaster Rovers's away form is none too clever, seeing them win just 1 and draw 2 of the last six. While the Rovers have hit 6 goals, 11 have hit the back of the wrong net.  Hull City's 60 points from 41 games sees them lie inside the top half of the table, whereas Doncaster Rovers are hovering perilously just above the relegation zone, with 45 points from 41 matches.  Their away record reads W4D5L11 scoring 26 and conceding 42.  They must be praying for the season to be over.

They have been overrun by injuries for some time, including their top scorer Billy Sharp. They have only scored 2 goals in the last 5 games, so should struggle against a strong Hull defence.

Hull to Win or Draw!

Good luck!

19 Consecutive Winners!

13 Apr 11 12:47
Hi Everyone,

We've had a very successful start to our Betfair blog so far, with 19 consecutive winners and finding the winner of The Grand National using our ABC Ratings System has been one of the highs so far definitely!  So we’re aiming to keep the winning run going as long as possible!

This is what we have in the pipeline for the Betfair blog moving forward, and when we will be posting tips.

. Weekly Football Trades - Usually one in the week depending on games, and one over the weekend.  These have a 100% strike rate so far this year for the blog since we started in February.  Combined with our members trades and free trades, our current win loss ratio since January is, 57 trading tips, 53 wins!  For more info about our monthly football trading membership, click on send a message next to my username at the top of this blog, and get in touch.

. Horse Racing Daily Trades - Following on from our Grand National success where we picked the 1st and 2nd place horses, we will be aiming to blog daily from the 1st May with our Daily Mover selections.  This will be throughout May, and include horse racing trades during the daytime and evening depending on racing.  I'll post these approximately 25 minutes before the race starts, and will give instructions for how to trade these selections.  The instructions will be accompanied by a video demo on our website, with the rules of play included for future reference.  Our ABC Ratings System which picked the winner has been hugely successful, so combined with the Daily Movers should help our blog followers and members add to their winning daily trades.  For more info about our ABC Ratings System click on send a message next to my username at the top of this blog, and get in touch.

. Greyhounds - In time for the Greyhound Derby in May we are aiming to have our Greyhound Lay of The Day ready for our Betfair blog followers.  Watch this space and we will keep you updated!

We have an instruction video on our website which shows you how to keep up to date when we either send out a members tip, or post a free tip.  This is a completely FREE SMS service, to make sure you never miss a ZeroHype selection! click on send a message next to my username at the top of this blog, get in touch, and I'll send you the link to the video.  It's a quick 2 minute simple set up, and you will never miss a tip!

So, nothing doing this evening for us on the football using our lay trading system, but we have a busy day of racing for our members using our ABC Ratings System today, with the last race ending 5.55pm at Newmarket.

Good luck whatever you're trading or punting today!

Hi,

Today's football trade is a lay the under 2.5 goals market selection, looking to trade off if we see an early goal or two!

Watford vs Norwich

Lay Under 2.5 Goals @2.14, and trade off if an early goals occurs pushing the odds up. As this is virtually an evens trade, so I am comfortable leaving this in play should no goals occur in the first half, as I would expect at least a couple in the second which would push the odds high enough for a trade off.

Kick Off: 7.45pm GMT

Analysis:

Norwich sit second in the table, and have the chance to return to the Premier League, but they have to keep winning! Whereas Watford’s fading Play-Off hopes are not to be totally extinguished, they have to win as well. So I can see both sides being on the attack!  Watford's home games average 3.2 goals each, (70% have paid out on Over 2.5 goals), the suggested bet becomes even more appealing. Then add in that Norwich’s previous 10 away trips to teams in the top half of the table have delivered 31 goals, so I expect this game to follow the same trend.

Good Luck!

For more information on our Football and Horse Racing systems just drop me an email, thanks.

Coming Soon!

11 Apr 11 14:40
Hi,

This week we have some promising mid week football games which I've got my eye on, so I should be making a blog selection either tomorrow or Wednesday!

Also at the start of May we have our horse racing selections commencing, along with Greyhounds in time for the Greyhound Derby!

The horse racing picks will more than likely be posted throughout the day approximately 25 minutes before the start of the race, and we will be looking for a 20% profit or 20% loss either way.  So as long as we are trading more winners we will be in a nice profit!  I'll track the win loss sequence on the blog, and make all the results available on my website for all subscribed outcomes and free Betfair blog results!

I've been running this system for over a two months now, and will produce some previous results with the rules of using the system when I launch it on here in May.  It's ultra simple though, you just back, place you lay bet in the queue, and either collect your 20% profit or take your 20% stop loss.

So I'm quite excited about sharing this with you and blogging every day!  I would suggest using our Free SMS Alert service for this though, otherwise that's a lot of hitting the refresh button all day!

The winner of the Grand National, and all our weekly winning Football trades, are all chosen using our subscription systems which are available on our website.  If you would like to find out more about how to improve your betting and trading, or if you're interested in finding out more about either our Horse Racing or Football systems, just drop me an email and I'll be pleased to send you the link.

Okay then, catch you mid week.  Good luck whatever you're trading or punting tonight!

Hi,

Overwhelmed and overjoyed with that result!

Our ABCDE Ratings bagged us the winner of the Grand National!

I hope you all followed our advice and created a profitable dutch bet, as pretty much all our horses put in a great account of themselves, and we even bagged the 1st with Ballabriggs, and 2nd place with Oscar Time!

For more profitable horse racing advice drop me an email and I'll keep you updated as to when we are starting our horse racing blog, and also explain the ABC Ratings System!

We've even had a winning football trade today, so that makes it 17 out of 17 consecutive wins this year for the football, and one brilliant day at the National!

Have a great day, I may be back tomorrow with a football trade.

Lay Doncaster @3.5

09 Apr 11 11:35
Hi,

What an exciting weekend ahead with loads of football and great horse racing action.  Fingers crossed for our Grand National selections today, just because it's such a difficult one to predict, we would love to bag a winner in our 7 horse dutch!

Anyway, I have a football trade for you today and a members selection which I sent out this morning, so members check your inbox! Today's pick is a little against the grain of usual selections, as we are looking to lay and trade off the home team.

Today's Trade:

Doncaster vs Cardiff

English Championship

Kick Off: 3pm

Lay Doncaster @3.5, and trade off if Cardiff go ahead or the game drifts on for a draw and the price for a green up becomes appealing.  I'll be posting if we get to trade off.  So if you have set up our free SMS alerts you will get a text.

Analysis:

Firstly I'm really not a fan of laying home teams, but when you take a look at the value on offer for this match up.  Doncaster haven't scored in 4 hours and Cardiff are really coming into some great form!

Getting down to the business at the end of the season, and Cardiff need to keep the points coming in if they want to play next season in the Premier League.  Cardiff sit 3rd in the Championship, their away record reads, W8D3L8, scoring 28 and conceding 27.

Doncaster are in 20th position in the league, and have a home record of W7D6L6, scoring 23 conceding 26. Doncaster are now without Billy Sharp this year, and goals are coming very limited for Rovers at the moment.

They play a very flowing style of football, but as do Cardiff, and I expect key cardiff players like bellamy to realy take charge of this game

Away from home Cardiff have dropped some silly points, but I genuinely don't expect that here today!

Good luck!

Hi,

Just a final note on the National selections.  I'm not a greedy man, and I prefer to increase my chances of winning as much as possible with my bets and trades.  So simply as a suggestion, it's worth using a small amount of your expected profit from the five horse dutch to place on the two reserve choices.

F – Calgary Bay
G – Bluesea Cracker

You could put a small dutch bet on these two as well as the five horse dutch, and create a very healthy 7 horse dutch including our ABCDE rated horses!

Thought it worth a mention for anybody new to dutching and unsure of the capabilities.

Good luck!

Hi,

We recently launched our ABC Horse Ratings system, and we're getting great feedback from members already making steady profits.  We're about to start posting regular daily horse racing free blog tips, which should commence from the start of May.

So given that it's the Grand National on Saturday, the hardest race in the world to predict a winner, we thought we should have a go using the dutching system used on the ABC Ratings.

If you don't know what dutching is I recommend you go searching on Google firstly, and also find yourself a decent dutching calculator to have a play around with before you start placing bets.  We use an API software product to run the Betfair exchange, and this has a built in Dutching facility to make life a lot simpler, but there are plenty of free online calcs out there on the net, which can be found easily and used for simple dutching bets.

So what is dutching?

Without boring you all to tears with a history lesson about how the system originated, which I believe was from Al Capone's accountant, but don't shoot me if I'm wrong!  If you search Google for 'what is dutching' we get, 'In gambling, Dutching is sharing the risk of losing across a number or runners by backing more than one selection in a race or event. The process calculates the correct stake to place on each selection so that the return is the same if any of them wins'.

Which in a nutshell is dutching! You can add all kinds of amazing variables to this system with the advent of Betfair unlocking trading capabilities around your dutching, but for our ABC System and our Grand National selections, we are simply backing all selected ABCDE or just the ABC runners if you're really feeling lucky, to give us an equal profit should any of them win!

Peter Flynn from betting.betfair.com recently put up an article about dutching which is definitely worth a read.  You can find it here:

http://betting.betfair.com/horse-racing/bloggers/dutching-on-betfair-simply-better-than-the-rest-and-her-290311.

Ok folks, here’s the Zerohype dutching bet for The Grand National……….

Unlike our subscriber dutching selections, this will be a five horse dutch bet for us, and as our members will already be aware of, A-E are our selections in preferred order, with F & G as our reserves, also in preferred order.

Analysis:

In common with the winner of the last ten nationals, all of the below selections have won on at least one occasion at 3miles or more, and have all won a chase of at least £17,000.  Also, in common with all National winners since 1990, all of our selections are at least 8 years old.

A – Big Fella Thanks – performed well in the last two nationals, and was joint favourite last year, finishing a respectable fourth. Good on this course, and is well rested, ready for this run.

B – Silver by Nature – First timer to the national, but has good stamina and is performing well in recent races.

C –Ballabriggs – A very strong contender and has landed some cracking wins. Comes from a good trainer who will have done his best on this horse.

D - Oscar Time – Hasn’t won for a while, and isn’t quite as good as the above selections but is in excellent form lately and should enjoy this run.

E – Niche Market – A good selection to finish off our five horse dutch. Had a good run in his last national and Paul Nicholls will have worked his stuff on this horse since 2010. An experienced chase horse that should be in good form for this one.

Our Reserves:

F – Calgary Bay

G – Bluesea Cracker

The example below demonstrates how to dutch our Grand National selections, and shows the benefit of using this system to increase your prospects of winning more often.

This is out of a possible dutch for the five ABCDE rated horses, at the current national odds prices on Betfair, using a total stake of £100.00 split between all five horses, gives an equal profit should any of the horses win, of £279.40 approx.

Selection:         Odds:       Stake:       Profit:

Big Fella Thanks    24.0        £15.81       £279.45

Silver by Nature    17.0        £22.32       £279.45

Ballabriggs            18.5        £20.51       £279.45

Oscar Time          14.5        £26.17       £279.48

Niche Market        25.0        £15.18       £279.51

As you can see each outcome shows a virtually equal profit.

We will have our usual football tips for the weekend, hoping to add to our winning run of 16 in a row, so remember to check back either Friday evening or Saturday morning if you follow our football trades.

So all that remains to say is good luck at the National, we obviously hope our selections bring us all a winner, and you enjoy an entertaining and profitable days racing!
