Don't fret Foyles, it always happens and always comes right and we have 2.5 rounds left where we will need your re-found confidence. Got a rare Sunday free from being duty driver and chief cook and bottle washer and may have an early go for us.
Backed Captain Cool 1505 hrs Strat last night @ 11/4 and he is now fav @ 9/4 but still might be worth a go for points. He is making his chase debut in a Novice Handicap and if transferring his hurdle and PTP form to this discipline should be hard to beat despite top weight. If he makes the running and gets into a good rhythm he could take some pegging back, assuming of course that he jumps ok and that is basically the basis of the bet. Can he jump is imo the gamble as I believe he is the best horse in the race, the optimism is helped by the trainer/jockey winning a similar race with the top weight recently , the price will decide whether I put it up here. |

He has been usurped as fav by Cawthorne Cracker to whom he concedes 25lb but I do not understand why Sky have him at 5/4 and 365 go 9/4. He is a hold up horse and as the ratings tell us, not very good. Given that Lilly Pinchin's horse can also front run there could be plenty of pace and even getting lumps of weight the new fav could be run off his feet, hope so anyway.
Will put up the selection and hope the betting stays similar at the off. |
